The 501st legion of clone troopers evolves into the 501st legion of Imperial Stormtroopers aka “Vader’s Fist”. They are Darth Vader’s personal legion and whilst Clone numbers in the unit eventually got superseded by regular stormtrooper recruits there were Clones serving in the unit right up until the Battle of Hoth where the Vader’s Fist legion commanded by General Veers loaded into the ATATs on Hoth to invade the Rebel base there. This is why they are so revered. And if you wanna add more to your 501st Minifigure legion, next month the Lego Star Wars Magazine includes a matching 501st trooper in it. Note, I have one UCS ATAT filled up with a full compliment of Snowtrooper minifigures collected from the January edition of the Lego Star Wars Magazine and a couple of the battle packs (needed the speeders obvs) But I have another UCS ATAT manned entirely by 501st legion clone troopers.
On a real note, a good tip I have for everyone buying mass amounts of battlepack-like sets is to keep the extra parts and reach out to Bricklink stores to sell. Unless you want to keep all the pieces, you can offer bricklinkers the pieces of the set at a cost and then recoup some initial investment - or use that money to buy more.

I love the Battle Droid minifigures, too, except for how easily they fold over in the middle. I am happy for the two smaller minifigure packs Lego put out this year. Hope they make more of them.

It's okay, Holly. You don't have to watch a single episode of TCW to be a fan of Star Wars, or clone army building. In fact, it's healthier not to.
