Sorrow is a tremendous challenge, to meet it means to accept a great deal of pain, which we all want to evade
Even if we want to meet it, but secretly we expect to be free from it which is another kind of escape/evasion
Thus I understand there is no way to be free from it, this is what we get from life

What is death? Not dying physically at the end of one's life. As long as the 'me' remains with its memories and images the shadows will play havoc in one's life both within and without. Are we really serious/earnest enough to test out the teachings ( of K). Are we merely playing with words and admitting time so that ensuring ourselves to remain shallow and superficial. What is the measure if at all one cares to dive deeply into oneself? Honesty/dishonesty begins and ends with oneself; but in oneself the whole history of humanity is embedded.
this is what evolution is, perhaps - stories of people choosing their heart and truth, or mind and lies.
honesty with oneself by default includes honesty with all else (other).

If you are 50 years old, how many cases of sorrow & grief have you faced up to now. But non exists today, they are all gone. We suffered in time & it is gone. Try to remember the greatest sorrow of you life. How do you feel it now. Sorrow is an eye into you, it will open its real image, when it wants, not when we want, do not do anything about it. With the greatest loss, you will cry only for a month and suddenly you may find some insight into it and find some joy in it. You may not honestly declare same, but some day the sorrow or pain may become joy. Sorrow is a thought. In our life everything is limited. Thought is limited. Not only sorrow, joy, pleasure, entertaiment etc they are al limited in thought. It is a fact. So why worry.....????
I don’t understand what you wrote.can u explain by an example.I was in a situation 2 years ago when I was supposed to do an abortion,I regret it now everyday ,I became sad and mad at myself,and lost all joy and peace
