5 years later and your video helped me with my install. Thank you brotha!
Just bought a 2010 si and I didn't know shit about these cars until I watch ur vids. Yoy actually are doing a better job on vids then most people cause you try and include every detail you can. Keep on doing a good job brother. Keep posting good vids.
+Solid_Fitment Society My goal has always been to master my cars, learn everything. I'm still learning a bunch of stuff myself. I try to get the best angles & description as possible. Appreciate your support bro, way more to come ;)
Just fit these in my FG2, and pretty noticable difference! Thanks for the video! I have gained so much knowledge from all your vids, and it is much appreciated. Keep wrenching!
Truly appreciate all your support 🤘🏼🙏🏼
Cool video- would prefer more details at the end of how it felt different and what improvements you noticed than just the Oh my God dude though
Hey Tom Cruise wants his glasses back
Thanks for the video! This really helps me. It shift so good!
think i'm going to get this for my 9th gen Si.. for 70 bucks if it can take some slop out "mainly going into third" then it is so worth it. I've also got a Ktuned Clutch master cylinder and slave to put on soon :) the bushings would make it that much better! love your 8th gen si bro
+Taylor Harless I think that you should. How is the 9th gen? I still kind of want one haha. K tuned makes great products. Thank you man, she's coming along the way I want her. I have so many more plans for midnight 👌🏼
i love it man! But it's my first SI so lol i'm kinda biased. I almost got a 8th gen in black but i really wanted blue and the 9th was dyno blue with 72xxx and a one owner. I'm at 77xxx right now and loving it. Going into third is notchy sometimes but i hear that is common. It's a blast to drive! i just wish everyone else would learn how to drive and go the speed limit... or 5 over haha
The blue 9th looks so good. Do you have a fg4 or fb6? Get these bushings, that should help the problem a bit. You can also try and change your tranny fluid if you haven't done that already. No matter what honda you have, they're fun cars. The si is just perfected man, clutch, engine, etc... People drive like old farts haha
fb6! and yeah a tranny fluid change is probably a good place to start. Have you always used honda Mtf? or is the synchromesh blend going to do the same thing? i hear mixed reviews . And yeah man, haters gonna hate but Honda is obviously doing something right.. the new Type R is already sold out :( lol new 2017 si's are also all bought up in my area.. still haven't seen one on the road yet though.
Got mine last month. Thanks for the review man!
They are awesome
Nice build bro. I just got my bushings in. Def feel better than stock
Hey my 2007 honda civic si started making this squeaking noise from the clutch pedal only when i release the pedan and im in gear, when im parked i push and release the pedal and there’s no noise, do you know what can be causing this??
“At the shop” works on the car outside next to a big ass tank in the boonies
What happen if you don’t grease the bushing when putting it in I don’t have silicon spray can I rub oil from engine ?
hey bro thanks for this vid I can't wait to put them on this weekend :)
Glad I could help you out.. you’ll like them 👍🏼
I think this is why my shifting still feels spongey after I changed out the shifter lever & it's components located on top of the transmission.
Barely felt a difference
THAT DON'T HELP
Shifter bushings will make a difference for the first month or so but after that, you won't notice it. I bought mine from Corsports.
For me the bushing were easy to get off. The stock air intake tubes were a nightmare tho
Got them on the cables but they dont fit on the shaft
i purchased the Acuity Shifter Cable Bushings and Shifter Base Bushings !!
waiting for them to arrive : )
+Arsen Jasko You will not regret your purchase ;)
Hey man, i really like all your videos !! Keep posting, Keep wrenching : )
Arsen Jasko where did you purchase them from?
+Edgar Martinez EBay bro, they're $70
+Arsen Jasko The plan is to "Never Stop Wrenching" Love the support bro, means a lot to me, seriously. 👌🏼
Installed the yesterday. We shall see but definitely seems to take out some slop.
You'll love them
Gerb Productions already do. Combined with a mugen shift knob it is perfect.
Rookie question but how did you get the small locking collar on to the acuity bushing
Im having trouble putting it on. I said fuck it and don't put on the locking collar
+Sean Lam Its a pain in the ass dude, work it with your hands, it may take awhile. Make sure you put it on after the bushing is in place on the linkage. Bigger one is easier, smaller one took me a bit to mess with.
Gerb Productions I got it bro after spending 30 minutes on the small one lol had some help from my cousin. It took him like a minute to do. Great videos bro keep it up!
+Sean Lam Glad to hear you got it. Did you drive the car yet??? I appreciate the support dude 👌🏼
Gerb Productions honestly bro I think my car drove better before installing the Acuity bushings. Lol but that's just my opinion
♥️
Can you tell me where is the Transmission dip Stick located @? For this car
There isn't one 😂
Hi bro! Ey where can I buy it?
Do you have a short shifter in this video too or no?
What happened to that super tall long shifer knob? Is the long term review a no go?
+Jeremy Bunton I'm running it in my daily civic ex. I like the oem shift knob weight more. What long term review?
Oh I know you didn't do a long term review, I was just figuring there was something you didn't like about it since you took it off. I was thinking about getting the skunk shifter. It gets really good reviews, but Ill probably just leave the stock one on. Hate spending that kind of money on something that doesn't make the car run better or look a good bit better. I cleaned my mass air flow sensor today and put in those new JDM headlights. They sensor cleaning took all of 15 mins, but man getting that bumper off and swapping out those head lights was a good 3 hour job. Thank goodness I had some super long extensions, a few of those headlight bolts were way back up in there. They sure do look good though.
Honestly, the shifting is better with a weighted knob. If the extended one had more weight, it'd be a different story. If i were you, i'd leave the stock one, spend money on performance parts intake, exhaust, header, etc... What lights did you go with? The bumper can be a pain in the ass, i agree haha.
I went with the ones below. I didn't want to go to far from the original look. I went ahead and replaced all 6 bulbs since I had them out. I had no idea the 6 bulbs were going to be about 100 bucks. I didn't even do any fancy leds. I probably could of reused the old ones, but Ive never had to change one up front in 10 years so I figured it had to be a matter of time before one goes.

What kind of camera do you use? Are you using anything separate for Audio or just straight from the camera?
GoPro hero 5 Black. I just use audio straight from the camera. It gets iffy at times though
Agreed, could be worse. I highly recommend a go pro though
Worth every fuckin penny...
One of the best mods i put on the car 👌🏼
Have you don't the j35 throttle body and ported your intake manifold?
I haven’t. Maybe when I do my k24 swap 👍🏼
@@TheGerbsteve can you do that on the k24? The only reason toy can do it on the fg2 is cause of the RCB intake manifold. I have not done it only seen it done on a few other channels.
For my k24, i will be using z3 RBC
@@TheGerbsteve nice. Then yes you will have no problem. Lol. I'm excited to see this so I can do it also. Lol I have to watch you test it out and then I will lol.
This might b a dumb question but can I apply this on an automatic
No 😂
@@yukonstriker1703 yea I figured😂
are they worth getting ?? i just ordered the hybrid shortshifter v2 and thats my next thing imma get
+Dimitrus Valentin Yes. You will see my review vid next. For $70, they beat oem all dayyyy my dude
I cannot for the life of me, get the smaller bushings ring on.
Dude, it's a pain in the ass. Took me like 10 mins lol
That smaller bushing ring is what's scaring me away from this "easy" mod. Can't bend the cables at all!
Hmm this video has me thinking man! Does it really change the shifting experience that much?
More crispy, precise shifts... Definitely worth the $$$$
Gerb Productions siiiick def gonna have to pick some up.
Anybody know which is better between the acuity bushings and the ktuned bushings? I can't decide on which one to go with heard good things from both
Either way you go, you can't go wrong. I love both brands equally as much
Gerb Productions yea because it tripped me out how the ktuned is cheaper can't help but feel like there a reason for that
I hear ya haha... I'd go Acuity bro
Gerb Productions koo thanks I think I am
Dumb question if you're still active, but can these cause hard shifts with the car on but seem perfectly fine with the car off? I'm getting a hard shift issue and just wanna make sure before I pull the trans
Sounds like it could either be clutch or maybe even synchros/synchros springs. Or you might just have to adjust your clutch. Could be a lot of things
Are the shifter bushings worth it?
i am about to install the Acuity bushings once they arrive.
i had read a lot about them and they are going to give your shifting experience a crisp feeling. No more sloppy feeling from the oem rubber bushings.
+Edgar Martinez yes, review vid will be up tomorrow 📹
Are the shifter bushings just for the 8th gen si model?
You'd have to check their site
Как назывются эти втулки?
Sir i want that badly for my 8th. Gen fd...
Grab some. They are a great investment
Where can I buy these bushing
Visit acuity website
What's the purpose of this mod? Where can I buy it for a 09 civic si?
+lazyhl1994 Better shifting, stiffer more precise feel to be exact. eBay man haha. They're $70
bro was it worth it? did u feel any difference?
+comment man comment man Review vid coming soon 👌🏼
reporting in all is well I got my engine swaped with a next motor.
Yessss, i love hearing that! Did you get a deal?

+h22sparkle K24 babyyyy!
