Yes , I have had most guys treat me well in their willingness to sell. I have only had a few telling me not for sale at any price. Thanks for watching my video. Rob
WOW 😲, this was a great treasure hunt. I loved every moment of it. It was like stepping into the past. As you video the cars, I was imagining who drove them. This was a great find. We were at a gas pump sale, and a gentleman had taken old front light grills from old model cars and converted into lighted wall art. The two big round lights lit up. It was super cool and he was selling them like crazy. They were from authentic old model cars. He would love this place. Thanks for sharing. Yeah!!
I am glad you enjoyed my video. Thank you . I think what you mentioned about a front grill with headlights lit up hung on a wall sounds neat. What a great idea!
Woww!! Such a Crazy Pick!!! Beautiful classic cars! Wish we could restore or Hot Rod Some of them! Awesome you found the exact same Standard Service Sign in even Better Condition! Can’t wait to see what’s next!!!
That place was a goldmine. How awesome to see you find the Standard sign hidden in the weeds. I hope you go back. There might be anything hidden there.
Hello Michael, Thanks for watching my video and for your comment. Same goes for me. In California places like this do not exist anymore. I also like collecting signs but these days they have become too expensive. This was like a breath of fresh air being able to find original stuff first hand at a affordable price. Rob
Awesome! I love to hunt collectibles from scrapyards or junkyards. What part of California was you in that scrapyards? I’m from Southern California. Great finds you got! The best one is Standard Service porcelain sign!!
I am glad you asked this question. No Most yards like this are closed to the public because of liability and insurance issues. It took me a while to get permission to enter these places .
its nice to see some of the videos of these old guys selling stuff then leave them just rot away like some other videos!!

I wish Southern California had such places. This was somewhere in central Nebraska.
Talk about some buried treasures. Tom Cotter from Hagerty would have a field day with all of those old cars.
Thanks! Yes he probably would! Thanks for watching my video. Rob
I’d be supprised if that porcelain sign with the paint over it wasn’t a Mobil gas sign like the cut up one you found 👍
Next year if it is still there I will dig it out and bring some spray paint stripper and find out.
I'm surprised that there is any metal laying around after the price of scrap was $400 a ton. Good eyes Rob.
Yes I was also surprised to find this much scrap and also treasure!
Ya missed the really rare one next to the 58 ford . That would be the 58 chevy delray ...
Thank you for pointing this out! Yes I did miss that one!!!
Do scrap yards allow you to walk in and look around like this? Do you pay at the front to get in or?

Can you find me a tailgate for a 46-56 ford pickup truck it don’t have to be in fantastic shape and I’ll pay for shipping of course
I will keep my eyes for one. Thanks for asking.
Are you interested in selling any of the signs
My plan is to keep them to decorate with . Thanks for asking. Rob
you should have picked up the case eagle emblem worth more than all them signs wtf
I will ask about buying it next time. I am not an expert in all aspects of antique collecting . I am learning everyday.
if the owner was smart he sell each car $100 then at least they might live on and not just rot away.
Thanks for watching my video. He told me he has a plan and that he saved these from being scraped.
🤔😥😥😔
Thank you for watching another one of my videos!! Rob
🤔😐😮😥
