Okay, I admit it-as somebody who almost never cleans her gel plates, I uttered a pained, "No!" when you wiped away all that great, grungy buildup. Which of course is my signal to quit lounging around in bed, watching art videos, and get to work in my own studio, where I can do as I see fit with the grunge on my own plates. Any time I start thinking an artist ought to do something other than what they are doing is my signal to go do that thing myself. I'm definitely going to try this "paper," because I was making some pretty unseemly noises over the textures in those prints; I love the results you got. And I will have to look furter into Mr. Hammersley's work, because I liked what you've shown us. I don't comment as often as I should, but thanks again for your wonderfully serene videos, which have become part of my Sunday-morning, lazing-about, coffee-drinking ritual.
Hi Fulton. I really like the effect with this paper. All the prints are amazing, hard to choose a favourite. Frederick was an interesting artist, l looked him up, and love his work. Thank you for using his work as inspiration for your prints, they are unique.......Alioban ❤
These inspiration videos are very interesting and expose your viewers to artists we might not have been familiar with until your posts. I actually like your prints today much better than the inspiration piece. And the paper you used played a big part in the outcomes today. Great video!
Good afternoon Fulton. Where I live in England, is 5 hours in front of you, I (think you are in New York).from little things you said. I get confused thinking about international date lines .Then again, Anne tells me I'm easily confused. As you were pulling the first print, I sat here thinking , "Oh, wow! "Then I laughed and spontaneously wanted to clap. It was a strong reaction. I love black and white, I had a traveling exhibition of B&W photos in the 1980s, I had the luxury of access to several darkrooms at the time. I've made a number of pieces in B&W using Oil Bar transfer techniques. I am definitely going to try a few black and white abstracts on Monday morning. You are very inspiring.
Again this video has it all: an introduction of a wonderful artist, new art material and stunning prints. I know why I am one of your art groupies, dear Fulton. 😁👍🤗
Hi Fulton, I found this enlightening. You certainly have found one excellent way to use this paper. All are unique with the first mono print being my favorite. Thank you and hope your day is filled with wonderful surprises and fun.❤️💫❤️🙏🏻
Rien de mieux que le noir et blanc pour travailler les valeurs, l’espace et l’équilibre.. on a l’impression de se recentrer et le résultat est super efficace… merci
YES! I love black & white. These all came out so unique and I’m definitely intrigued. Mesmerizing. Once again I cannot pick a favorite as each of them hits me in various ways. Thanks so much for this video. Well done! ❤
I’m intrigued with these b & w monoprint results..they are a combination of Asian symbols & calligraphy even though you were inspired by Frederick Hammersley…also as you zoom in with the camera there are some more interesting small cropped images. So all in all, I feel the soft grainy gelli prints give very satisfactory images.
oh yum these black and whites ere fantastic you found the right application for that paper. thanks also for featuring another artist. I enjoy reading about them after video. Did you like the prints, Fulton i didn’t hear any exclamations of joy from you. thanks for sharing your videos I always love them.
Ha! I had to "curb my enthusiasm" this time because I was shocked by the result. I was a bit shaky and nearly dropped the print during filming! 😎 BTW Thanks for watching!
Do you think - as an artist with a love for good paper - that those microfiber sheets can be called 'paper'? I do not say they're a bad product, but I don't think they deserve the name 'paper'.
Errm..(scratches head) I agree with you, but I don't make this stuff, I just feature it on my channel. I suggest you contact the manufacturer and voice your grievances.

Second print is fabulous cayon landscape ❤
The marks of the color shaper edges work so perfectly with this plate size! Delicious - and impressive!
In love with these 😊

So nice to have a friend across the pond! 😄
Love that, cool with color shaper and squirt tube, great idea!
Miss counted it was print #3 that reminds me of desert south west landscape 😊
Love the black & white. So subtle. A nice change from the hyper-colorful.

The texture on these is extraordinary!

These are fantastic. I am trying to enter a black-and-white only phase myself.

Merci beaucoup et merci d'avoir regardé ! 💖💖
Gorgeous monoprint. ❤
🙏❤️
I like your interpretations better than the inspiration piece. Very nice!
The texture is wonderful. Curious to try. How will you mount these images? Glue to board?
they mount very easily on a mat board as they weigh very little compared to real paper

Love the black and white and you get such a clear and perfect print every time…🎉 I think the inspiration piece was cut in 12 pieces and reassembled ⁉️

Interesting how it does not pick up the previous layers.
