    Leah, u should tell them to mix the halo halo. It's more delicious when its mix well and almost melt the ice

    IMO, it would be "The Best Halo-halo" if it had Ube since it is one of the signature ingredients in a Classic Halo-halo.

    hahahaha! you forgot to bring the "pangkuskos" with you when you visited France again. It could have been a perfect Halo-halo if you have it. I haven't tried using a powerful blender for tube ice grinding. But i saw on You tube how they prepare a Papaya smoothie in Thailand with ground tube ice using a powerful blender.

    Hey yo.. adobo is not just salty.. u can add a few table spoons (2 or 3) of brown sugar (preferably) or white sugar to make it taste sweet.. just thought u should try adding it the next time u cook adobo.. I think u will like it a lot

    Halo-halo doesn’t mean: hello- hello. It means mix-mix. Because it’s a mixture of seasonal fruits, jelly, shaved or crushed ice, milk, and ice cream.

    Japanese immigrants to the Philippines first introduced the concept of shaved ice snacks (kakigori) to the Filipinos in the 1920s. It's not correct to imply that the dessert was invented by the FIlipinos.
    You can probably say that chicken adobo is the Filipino version of coq au vin.
