It's fascinating how French people can easily get and say Filipino words and have the right accent. I love it. Also, nice work again Leah! These vlogs are always so fun to watch! ❤
Well filipino words are spoken the way they are spelled like you literally say each letter. But when my fellow filipinos speak french, you better hold your laughs or be patient with us because we would definitely pronounce words incorrectly. Just like "Croissant" we pronounce this as KRO-SAN-T 🤣
So nice to see that Leah genuinely wants to share her Filipino culture with French people. She was raised right by her Filipino mother. Keep it up Leah. You are doing great.
I love these videos. I imagine Filipinos are a tiny minority in France so getting to try Filipino food over there is a rare opportunity. Thank you for sharing!
Little by little, Filipino food become Global. Thanks to the effort of the migrant Filipino family who taught their children about the Filipino culture. Good luck on your vlog Ms. Lea.
No wonder arabic people their second language is French coz of similar accent and sound.Thank uou guys for appreciating our dessert.love french .God bless your channel Heloliyah.
Gòod day gorgeous Leah. It's nice to see you vlogging again you all. Missing your jolly side that you inherited from your dad. Your amazing for being humble and alive always. Be blessed always.
Thank you sister for that awesome gesture of yours by introducing filipino foods to other people we really appreciate that. I will suggest next time you can put it in individual tray and put just right amount of it for them to try that way its more hygienic. God bless you.🙏
Western people are really good at explaining something..like they can desrcibe it better than Meriam dictionary. Filipinos on the other hand, will just say few words to explain and it's up to you to guess and understand it😅😂
French people will innovate Ube just like many great French cuisines. Great about Filipino food is the time n love Filipino family spend with the food. I met many French people when I was visiting a friend in Bordeaux, France but doesn't speak French as clearly the way u did. Your French diction is impeccable. Thanks, I enjoy your video. Eric is from Arizona, USA.
I've been to France and I am so glad all the random people I spoke with on the train station and the taxi driver can speak English. I got lost when I arrived in Paris.

Great video….thanks for sharing our culture with others… the only thing to add is ube is not sweet potato at all but is actually a “yam” (a different plant altogether) and would actually have other varieties that are not purple in color.. sweet potato is kamote in Filipino
Ang tagal din new food tasting update mo I like and love it and waiting for another one.kaka excite kase Alam ko maselan Ang taste buds Ng mga France's
Great food tasting video! You and your team's mettle is admirable! I love Ube Halaya - but only the homemade style. I could finish a whole tub of the precious purple creation in one sitting! Sadly, many so-called 'ube halaya' are now mass produced and distributed in plastic containers sold in malls. That variety is cooked with hardly any Ube, but with corn/ all-purpose flour, tons of sugar and food color. I know this bcoz my beloved mother (+) used to cook Ube Halaya from Ube that she herself planted in our backyard.✌😊👍
Have already eaten Purple yam cake and purple yam donut , and let me tell you its super good, i rarely eat it because it's not always available whenever i crave for it
i have a filipino friend who lived in La Defense for quite a while with his French wife but they moved here before the pandemic happened but they still let their kids go to an international school that follows the French curriculum.
Ube halaya or halayang ube (variant spellings halea, haleya; from the Spanish jalea, "jam") is a Philippine dessert made from boiled and mashed purple yam (Dioscorea alata, locally known as ube). Main ingredients: Mashed purple yam, coconut milk and/or condensed milk, and butt... Alternative names: Ube jam, Halayang ube, Purple yam jam Course: dessert Place of origin: Philippines
It's fascinating how French people can easily get and say Filipino words and have the right accent. I love it. Also, nice work again Leah! These vlogs are always so fun to watch! ❤
Yes my french fiancée has barely any issues speaking and pronouncing Pinoy/Bicol words!
