Therefore, he would be technically unemployed & receiving a full-ride welfare scholarship, letting the taxpayer foot the bill for his & his family’s food, housing, medical bills, etc while using his undocumented income to continue to stunt & pretend he’s a boss, that he “makes” those dollas.

Unfortunately, I have seen the video where this happens. Mooron was everything wrong - suspended license, no insurance, unregistered, no seat belts. Cops let him go _without even writing them tickets._ And it wasn't bullshit SovCit editing either. Cop tells them they can go without tickets let alone impounding the "conveyance." I wish I could remember the dept. 90% sure it was CA

Actually no. I was pulled over not knowing my license was suspended because I paid the suspension fee but not the activation fee so my license was technically still suspended and my insurance had run out 2 days before I was pulled over. Also, the car I was driving belonged to a guy who had died and he inherited it from his mother who died so she was the last person who it was registered to so I had to wait 5 years to register it and I had 2 years left. Now here's the catch... After calmly explaining all this to the officer, not trying to stall or lie, coming right out in the beginning and admitting all this and not having any record of any kind (not even a ticket on my record) he chose not to arrest me. This is what happens when you know you're licked, act like an adult and move on to fix your issues. He actually pulled me over cuz he was behind me and he ran my plates so I wasn't even speeding or anything like that. This happened in Connecticut and it was up to the officer whether or not he chose to arrest me and he didn't.
I absolutely LOVE when officers call these idiots children, and then they tell them to act like an adult.😅😅

It should be a felony to refuse to exit the vehicle after a 3rd time to do so. The longer the perp stays inside the vehicle the higher the police risk for gunfire or fleeing. Comply with officers' orders and live to fight another day.

Complying to a Cop I guess is what some folks refer to as bootlicking, myself I like to comply so I can get back to my life w/ a minimum of damage control.

It's actually NOT an option. The officer is under NO obligation to get someone a supervisor when they ask for one.

In my country Ireland 🇮🇪 if you are caught driving with a suspended driving licence, your vehicle is impounded. In fact you have to surrender your driving licence to the authorities, and failure to do so can get you up to a 5,000 Euro fine, if you still refuse, the fine is doubled, and you can get six months in jail.
Good idea. Unfortunately, lots of people in the US will drive without a driver's license. Or registration. Or mandatory insurance. They just don't care.

I think that is a very good idea. I would add that it would be great to bring back some type of draft, people could choose military, or some other community support force. I just think that people need to feel that they are a part of society, rather than some anti-hero.

There are all kinds of different job training specialties that could be offered. And they would be serving our country, rather than demanding more.

It's a demand, not a request.
They do not have to bring a supervisor to the scene of the stop (unless it’s in department policy). It’s not law, is a courtesy (for the most part).
Also, you have no right to refuse lawful orders during detainment. You must obey the officers lawful orders/requests during detainment. If the officer is wrong, file a complaint in the morning. Do not play games in the street.
God, how I miss the old days! When cops could be cops and do what needed to be done.

I built that road (with a little help) with the divergent diamond intersection over I-88. Makes me feel good to see it being used for something other than traffic.
The rarest but most effective of all intersections. Never saw one in real life but I build them in cities skylines.

Not ID is pretty serious. Michigan v Long said leos can put driver in armed and dangerous category, get them out of the car, and search the passenger compartment for weapons when normally they would need probable cause.

Driving on suspended can get pretty serious. In Florida, after two, every other one is a felony and the state can impound the car for civil forfeiture because the car is being used in an ongoing criminal enterprise because every time they drive the car it's a felony.
