Hello everyone! It's Chain Attack time!
This song is such a jam! It plays almost all the time in this game so covering it was a no brainer. I mean it even plays when it shouldn't be allowed to play such as during big important battles... Whatever you do, this song is there waiting and you cannot escape it. Unless you don't start the chain attack of course...

Being overlevelled is the biggest scam in this game. Overlevelled = fuck all EXP from battles, meaning fuck all CP from battles; the only source of CP. Good luck getting anyone to learn a class outside of recruiting a new Hero.

@@shulkthesmileyboi I mean I’m running doing a ton of side quests between missions and fighting pretty much every unique monsters I can and I’m not THAT overleveled and definitely having any problems with gaining CP.
This is why I wish Definitive Edition's expert mode was left as a menu selection... Or a level matching mode of some sort.

Does it interrupt? You can always choose when to do it (unlike vision of the future)
To quote Sena: "Yippee!" I may hate how it overpowers other songs in the game but I still love this tune and your version of it.
It's a great song, it just gets in the way of some of the somber battle themes, or the dynamic battle themes.
Still an amazing tune to get you pumped up in the fights though!
I like that it does that. When this music kicks in it makes you feel like you went from wow this is a tough fight to I'm a badass and this boss is about to get a beat down.
@@Hyli4nH3ro Exactly. It changes the pace and it's like: "it's good guys time now." I'll never complain, one of the bests musics in the game. I'm never tired of it. And you can play without chain attack anyway.

I didn't actually mind the chain attack music that much, was hype sometimes. But man, the menu music got on my NERVES. I want to hear the environment music where I am man, not the same tune every time I open the menu. Such an immersion break. (Great cover btw!)
I'm on the same boat about the menu music... it's not a bad theme but I'd much prefer hearing the area theme like it was in other Xenoblade games.

Both themes should be a setting
Some how it feels like the actual OST and that's something for a metal everything artist. Now thats talent! Also nICE Nia portrait in the background
The theme of multiplying your EXP gain by around 350%
With the whole process taking 5+ minutes every single time

At first I wasn't sure another "visions of the future" type song would stick with me. Now I have this track in my head all day. It's so good and it makes you feel like a badass during a chain attack. And your cover, as usual, makes it justice! ❤

there are definitely some points where this really should not be interrupting the current battle theme, but in most battles this feels like a cool shift from an intense "will we beat them" to a more upbeat "were winning this fight, so now it's time to style on them" which I find really fun.
One time I had to run to the bathroom during a chain attack so this was my theme for shiting

ah yes, what i like to call the interruption song, I don't think it's a bad song but it interrupts songs that are usually better than this one, same happened to me in XC1 where if you change the future the song changes (although I think Visions of the future is a bad song)
I thought they learned with XC1 as they didn't do it in XC2 but oh well... I was so wrong. The song is amazing! But there are times it just shouldn't be allowed to play.
Agreed this song has massive Work Flegian vibes. (The Overdrive song from X that once you actually understand it is the only song you here because of how unbelievably broken it is)
I agree with this when it comes to XC1 but not XC3. I just like this song that much.

Great cover. You know the game is something special when I'm 100 hours in and my biggest complaint is that this amazing song can't be turned off at least sometimes lol. Definitely the best song that takes over other songs in the series (did not like the vision song at all)

Unlike vision, you have a choice not to initiate the chain attack. I think only the final boss does it and doesn't get interrupted when that happens
Love this song, it's like a nice finale to a boss battle if you save your Chain Attack to overkill them :')
Fun fact (and spoiler for the end of the base game):
If you use a chain attack in Z‘s last phase and he barely has any hp left (at least that’s what happened on my first playthrough) the chain attack theme plays despite it being turned of for the final boss fight.

I love reading the description you write for every video. This is probably my favourite Xenoblade 'battle' song. It just changes the whole feel of a battle and makes you feel like you're on that home stretch to defeating the enemy.

It's here! Probably the song I listen too most in the game itself because of how often Chain attacks come up. Actually pretty good as an interrupt song, but not quite Wir Fliegan level.

Let's gooooo still going strong. I'm honestly really sad about the fact that they just start playing this whenever you initiate a chain attack, even when you're currently fighting a unique monster, because that theme goes so hard and then the chain attack theme starts (which is still really good but it takes you out of it and it's not as good imo)
I absolutely get the issue with this interrupting boss music, so I do agree it should be toggleable, but good lord do I still love it anyway. I've never been one to get annoyed by frequency, but I don't think I used Chain Attacks as frequently as I "should have" anyway

I Do Like the fact that the Chain attack gets it own theme Also made it to mid way of the game for being at chapter 5 half way there at level 51 don't say the final boss name but I think it around level 70 to 75 if playing and beated xenoblade 2 story told me so unless xenoblade 3 chapters are not as long or it not 10 chapters even I don't know tho but the fighting animation GOT WAY BETTER!
