She attended my alma mater (St. Lawrence University) for 2 years before going to the world to work on her music. She's considered to be one of our famous alumni. Anyway, In 2010, she returned to the campus for a show. A student made a video about the concert, interviewing different people, including a professor at SLU that she remained in contact with. This professor described Grace Potter and the Nocturnals as "It's like The Rolling Stones and The Who accompanying Tina Turner." I thought that said a lot. I could tell that Tina Turner must've inspired Grace Potter throughout her life.

I have seen Grace Potter twice in Austin, TX. She set the ACL “on fire” and when saw her in a club it was like seeing a hurricane building in the distance and suddenly you are in the middle of powerful storm with the energy to change the landscape. She does not do it by her self but taps into and then releases the inner force of the audience that become one with the performers on stage.
Most people are either blessed by God or the Devil. Grace Potter is the child of both and I am blessed to have seen this force of nature in action.
Man, this lady has chops...dynamic, her shows must be absolutely amazing.
They ARE INDEED!!!!! Saw her at a small venue in Birmingham and it was one of the best live performances I've ever seen. She's a phenomenal musician and vocalist. I'll be seeing her with Chris Stapleton this year and, having seen him twice, I can't imagine how the roof is going to stay on.
Grace really lets her voice loose - awesome.

I saw Grace last Thursday in Detroit. It was the best show I've seen in many years. Grace was on fire and the band was flawless. I can't find who they are. Anyone?

Love you Grace ! Been a huge fan since 10/15/ 2008 when you signed a CD for me and my son on my 50th birthday at the Pour House in Charleston, SC. That was by far the greatest Rock and Roll show I have ever seen in a bar to this day (I am 65 now and have seen MANY great bar shows in my time). I have seen you at least 5 or 6 times and have loved every show - Rock on girl !
