The concept wasn't meant to look like Rainhowls WR video, but... it... I'm too tired to change it D[
Done in WMM, but effects added in Sony Vegas. Am I the only one dumbfounded by SV? There's SO much stuff.
*During the little intermission piece, I really wanted him to say "Would you say I... became a hero?" But the BG music kept mucking it up. So you can still hear a teeny tiny voice at 2:24. MAYBE. It's in there, though.
The quality will probably suck. Warning you in advance.
Once again, the interpretation is better off left to you.

Zack was the definition of a true hero. The guy died for Cloud, and did everything he could for him along the way. Zack will forever be remembered!

Im literally in tears.. Zack is my favorite character.. And seeing it like this makes me miss him more and more.. To ease the pain my girlfriend bought my crisis core lol.
Amazing video. The song has always been a favorite and hearing Zack's voice overlay just made me want to cry. His whole story was told in that short phrase and his desire to become a hero was realized. I just wish it didn't have to come at such a steep price.... :( We miss you, Zack....

I love your choice of clips! XD I also like how this is a piece of music that's blatantly but not explicitly about Jesus, but in the context of the FFVII setting it just isn't, nobody on Gaia would be able to pick up any of those cues.

i have no idea, but its the beauty of Square Enix ,the FF games are the only one i can cry at. *sniff* like when i panicked to death when i thought Balthier and Fran were dead in FFXII
but because of this a new hero was born one that went through hardship and is willing to do anything to protect the people he care about. And so zack will live on in clouds heart just like zack will in everyones hearts. He will never be forgotten
Zack died yesterday, then he took an arrow to the knee and now he's alive! It's a miracle!
I love this video, and I bought Crisis Core and I don't want to finish it because I don't want to see Zack die. And now I'm crying, TT.TT. Damn you Enix why do you have to make such an awesome character that every/anyone can relate to and kill him off?! -crys in corner-

@MrMackIt he does say that. he says protect your honor as a soilder, even after most of first class soliders turned evil he was still holding on to his honor as one. he wanted to be a hero and in the end he was a hero but it is to bad that he died. his death changed so many people and he never known it could.
i think that the death of zack was sad but a great plot twist. no one would expect a good character like ZACK to die and i think it was to give cloud even more of a reason to take down his foes and made him grow stronger as a character. it gave him the strength and a reason to fight.
Sadness makes us feel good, =)

Well put together, even when effects were put in using Sony Vegas, even if Sony Vegas has a lot to offer, WMM still has its tricks here and there ^^ But either way, awesome job interpreting this song as a tribute to Zack

Zack and Cloud were true heroes for different reasons.Zack gave his life protecting his loved ones and failing to redeem SOLDIER by defeating Sephiroth,the monster who corrupted the organization. Cloud may not have been as well-trained or physically strong as Zack at first but his will was only slightly weaker than Zack and Sephiroth`s.A hero isn`t someone who never feels loss but someone who experiences loss time and time again and keeps fighting for those he cares about.

I have never met anyone who didn't cry at least once at the ending. . .
That being said, after seeing that scene 20+ times numbs you to the point where it doesn't effect you (my friend who owns it refuses to play the last hour of the game so I'm the one that plays it).

As a video critic (^^) I want to do positive first, Negative last.
Positive:
It was a great video. I liked how you switched thru effects (ex: fade to black/white and the fade into). I love the song choice as well and the choise to use Crisis Cloud was perfect in my eyes.
Negative: All i have to say is i wish you would have (after you faded at the end from them grabbing hands) fade back into how its Angeal and Zach, or use a focus zoom on their hands in likee black and white.

I watched this so long ago....I love this video....
If that's true then it's Hojo's fault that Sephiroth went "batshit crazy". If Hojo didn't like to dapple in human experimentation then Sephiroth would've been normal (then again, the Sephiroth we know & love wouldn't exist without Hojo).
Genesis kind of helped too with the whole "we're all monsters" crap he kept saying everytime you ran into him. If Sephiroth didn't meet Genesis at the reactor then he would have never gone into the Shinra mansion & realized he's been a puppet since conception.

These games were my childhood all those memorie with Eeevie (from the older FF's) and Payne and Zack Cloud Sephiroth Genesis Angeal Tifa and my favorite game and character Vincent Valentine from FF Dirge of Cerberus
I was really small when the game came out (my younger sister was born the same year). However, I played it at a friend's house who had the game (FF7 is a long game. . . as in game play takes 200 hours).
Never played Dissidia for the simple fact that I don't have a psp and my friend who has one doesn't have the game. I want to though.

This is all Sephiroths fault. If he hadn't gone batshit crazy and attacked Zack and Cloud, they never would have been captured by Hojo and the ensuing, depressing events wouldn't have come to pass.

I shocked really badly when i sad crisis core ending first time i cried like little girl. and harm that final fanasy vll ended ..... i liked to see more... but then Squall Enix was have to make more games. ff vll is awesome game.
