Hi Scott. Sorry you're feeling a little down today. I noticed it in your voice when you started this video. It's totally understandable. I keep praying this will stop soon. I'd like everything to get back to normal for you all. All I have to say is that I believe that there's a reason for everything. Keep having faith that it'll stop soon. Your video today is another beautiful display of this rotten mess. The clouds and smoke trails are magnificent! The colors, too, towards the end are really pretty! You're doing such a great job filming all of this, Scott. I, and everyone else here, love seeing all of this fabulous footage you're capturing. It's so awesome and amazing! Today's video shows a lot more action, I think, to the left of the Big Daddy spout. More little spouts are trying to reach up to the sky. The river to the left is still flowing strong. Unbelievable the amount of lava pouring out! Man, it's just too much. Wow. Still, even though it is beautiful to see, I do wish it would end. Enough already! Right? Right. I feel for ya, Scott, and for all that are there. Keep your chin up, and remember that we're here for you and appreciate all that you do so we can be in this with you all. Take care! Big HUG for you. Til soon ~ Barb :-)

This has become your Groundhog Day Scott (like in the movie with Bill Murray). Every morning you hope it will be over but it’s the same thing. I know you’re tired of it, but I still enjoy watching your videos. The images are mesmerizing and you always have something interesting to say.

Scott, if you wake up everyday hoping that this event has stopped, you are going to drive yourself into depression with daily disappointment. The fissure looks like its going to be active for a long time. It actually seems to be becoming increasingly active with f22 spattering and leaking lava right now and other vents near 8 glowing and smoking heavily. All I can do is suggest you work to capitalise on the event. There are plenty of people wanting access to viewing area's.....put yourself first in line to be one of the tour guides taking them there. Take good care of yourself. Aloha!

Don’t let big daddy get you down Scott. There maybe better videos, but there is only one you. And I can speak for most of us, that you make it honest as well an adventure. You have a unique personality. And your laughter is contagious. Hang in there, keep your head up,(I know it’s easy for me to say) but without you, this once in a life time event would not be interesting at all. You put the human touch on the effect this eruption has on people who have to live with it day in and day out. Thank you. And be safe my friend

Scott, sorry you are feeling low, sometimes it turns into something better. All of your video's are not borring stuff! although it might look the same, it is always different. So, sorry it's still going on, it will end. I can't thank you enough for the laughter and Joy you give so freely. Your voice is soothing and relaxing. Please accept this, it's not an ego thing, it's you! much love, take care, namaste

Scott, you provide a unique view into this life altering event that no one else can because of YOUR personality. Each person has their own unique style and gifts. I follow you because of that. I don't compare each person's style, I just enjoy each person's take on it. Thank you for sharing your wonderful gifts and learning experiences as you go along. You're awesome!!!🌺

I cannot imagine what it feels like to wake-up to this life-changing event every day. My heart hurts for all of you. I do watch some of the other channels you mention, but I always start with yours. It is not only about the volcano. It is also about the human condition and how all of you are coping on a daily basis. Stay strong, Scott. 💕

    Hello Scott!
I haven't commented before, but I have seen your videos since this began. I am impressed by your commitment to getting out an individual perspective of this event! I am impressed at how you and your neighbors have kept such a positive attitude in the face of such destruction (and creation). Your videos are wonderful. You may not have a helicopter or drone, but you are a real person with real emotion. I'd rather see your videos any day than one with a digital voice and hijacked videos from other sources. How some people can take USGS stuff, add a computer voice to it (that can't even pronounce Kilauea or Halemaumau) and monetize it annoys me. I think you and others who make truly original content deserve to reap the rewards. Everyone out there who admires Scott's work, let's all subscribe, watch his videos and do whatever we can so he can get compensated for the work he does. I, for one, appreciate the fact you are sharing this with all of us money or no money. Aloha and all the best to you. We hope to come visit the Big Island before too long.
    Aloha from Michigan!

The new normal has to be so very difficult. And yet you have been amazingly diligent with providing the ability for everyone around the world to experience this event along with you, your neighbors, friends and those around you. Thank you. Your video's are the best. We look forward to meeting you the next time we're in Hawaii. Aloha. Bruce & Jill

Hey Scott, I am in the mountains of SOUTHERN WEST VIRGINIA, where I was born and raised! I have never seen history in the making and I know you sound sad, when I have watched you all the other times, you have been upbeat and so wonderful to travel around with. If I ever came to Hawaii, I would remember your name and the name of your business. We tend to just have floods, but I love how you are up there, in the middle of all this, and making us see what you see. So, love and blessings to you, and Thank you so much for this! I always watch you, you are there and brave.

Just remember although we can not be with you physically we are all there in thought and prayer. You truly have been and are still doing a absolutely amazing thing. Good morning Scott. Thank you for my morning postcard. I'm in California and can't begin to imagine what waking up to this is like every morning. Saw some recent footage of Fisher 10. It was pictures of cracks in the ground. It literally made me feel nauseated to think of my property with open cracks and the idea of molten lava underneath me. I have experienced many earthquakes but this is something that the brain Can't Rap your head around. Thank you again for keeping us all informed on your life and how things are going in your world. If we had the money we would be over there hiring you for a tour!!!! Wishing you the very best from Cali!! Hugo, Shelley, and Kenny

There was monetization of the go pro video mount but not the July 2 Leilani video for me at 1: 05 am on 7/3. So, it seems it was monetized 50 minutes ago for US est. Thank you so much for your dedication. You have shown the world the true Hawaii spirit and that not all of Hawaii is a volcano.

As much as I enjoy your videos, I really am praying this stops soon for the sake of everyone there. I for one have learned so much about volcanoes in the last month than in my previous 50+ years of life. Also, I am enjoying, even more so, the video tours of just everyday life and the beautiful & amazing places to see there. It has stirred a desire to come visit there that I hope can be fulfilled some day.

You know Scott, once you get monetized - if this speaks to you - you might want to suggest that the Hawaii Tourism folks run an ad or two on your site. I know it's a hard time for the state right now, and other things also have to be prioritized, but you've already got several thousand pair of dedicated eyeballs here, not to mention you've made a lot of people realize they really want to visit Hawaii - volcano and all. If you're gonna have to run ads anyway, you might as get a word in for the home state. At the rate you're going, they're already going to ask you to run for governor anyway, lol.

This video is by far more beautiful, Scott. We have a farmer's market nearby, but the prices are so expensive. I guess if you go on Saturday night you can save money, but I just don't have the time or energy to walk the distance through the market. You seem down today. I guess one must accept what is in this case, as there is no control over mother nature. But, I don't have to tell you that. Keep doing interviews. They're really great. Thank you for all you do to show us, and the world, your experiences. I plan to order some items on Red Bubble when my inheritence comes in a few weeks. Scott. I wish "it" would go to sleep for you snd everyone else there. I'm sure you'd like to get your luves back(I still worry about you and your property should there be a big breach in the banks) I would miss hearing from you. But it would be for a happy reason. Hugs to you and your pups. Thanks for your videos. I like yours.

I am so sorry Scott, it really breaks my heart your so down... I imagine you have your confidents and so on... and that you turn to them to ventilate at moments like this. And i commend you for that, sometimes people just shut others out when sadness becomes difficult to bear. Thanks for trusting us and opening up to us, i personally value your genuine character and honesty. Don't ever doubt to reach out. We love ya, take care buddy. - Rachel. thank you for getting a shot of my soda pop sky 💖

I am still amazed and in awe of the lava’s continued power and flow, and my heart is heavy for you and everyone affected by this tremendous disaster. Stay hopeful that it stops soon. I keep you in my prayers, but I know you are going to be fine. We’re there with you!!

Thanks Scott. I've been watching your videos for weeks. Great footage! Loved your jaunt to the Farmers market yesterday. Cookies looked yummy, but you passed up all that great produce and the beautiful orchids!🌺🌻🌼🌸🌴 Mahalo.

Yes, you do indeed sound down, poor Scott! And no wonder, people's lives disrupted for who knows how long. I just hope things work out for you, sooner rather than later.
Meanwhile what you give us is so much more real and immediate than the drama seen from a helicopter. Thank you!

When I look at the fissure, both beautiful and terrible, the below quote goes through my mind:
"And I shall not be dark, but beautiful and terrible as the Morning and the Night! Fair as the Sea and the Sun and the Snow upon the Mountain! Dreadful as the Storm and the Lightning! Stronger than the foundations of the earth. All shall love me and despair!"

it's mesmerizing, you'd think it would become empty at some point. Even though it's irritating you made 19K friends. There's something about your voice that that I like to hear. You live so close to the lava flow is why your videos are so captivating. I noticed other videos out there are enhancing with filters and yours is the real thing. It's very nice to not hear about politics.

I noticed H.I.S. had a back side video. Don't know how he did it, but that is not what keeps us watching you. Your personality is. Gotta be thankful for the good stuff. Eventually it will subside. It does appear that gases are combusting mid air. Not sure if what I think I see is accurate. Appreciate your dedication to making videos even when it is tedious and hard to be "up". Whatever will you do, once it stops? Will you still take us along? Aloha!
