I haven't looked farther yet, but, oh my, each version is extraordinary. What's not to love about a well-played cello?
This might be the most fun arrangement of this piece I've ever heard! The part at 8:48 is always my favorite, and it works incredibly well on the cello, and looks impressive as well!

If you put enough work in, anything should be possible somehow. The question is does it make sense. I think this Saint-Saens can sound great on the cello (even though it was a real challenge). But I think there are some pieces that are dedicated to one instrument exclusively. E.g. I have heard fantastic performances of cello suites on the double bass. However, I could not imagine a bass player performing the Dvorak concerto. See my point?
Just after a little moment, I couldn’t make myself apart from You Tube. Is this really a cello? You play it sometimes like violin, but when it goes to c string, touches my heart gently but strongly. Can’t believe it!!!!

I just want to be able to study your particular rendition as I know there are several different transcriptions and many of them actually leave out a lot of the difficult passages originally created for the violin solo.
