"Massive upgrades" is a massive exaggeration.
If you compare the (10) variations of “upgrades” for GoPro vs this (3rd) release of Insta360… yes… this is absolutely a Massive Upgrade. Just imagine the 10th version.

That throttle brake happened to us with my petrol bike, my wife and I got injured falling by not being able to control the bike on a wet road. Later found out that it was a faulty cable. Glad you managed the situation without an injury.

Why have no reviews that you have provided a review unit for include test of low light footage? Are you telling reviewers not to show or test low light video?
Darn! I just got my replacement X2 back from them a few weeks ago and now I need to upgrade!
Have they finally allowed for 4K editing on mobile export? I know it's been limited to 1080P in the past.
Even though the audio levels were raised, I'm impressed how clear it sounded. Unless it was edited. Audio was the one advantages the Gopro max had on the x2. I look forward to the full review of the full production model.
I have the max and insta x2. the reasons for using the max more are: excellent audio (x2 audio is terrible), instant on (x2 takes 7 seconds to record, Max 1.3), and the Max has better mounts vs the X2 threaded insert. I use a cage on the x2 with GoPro mounts, but it shouldn't be a requirement just to have a decent mount
Hey Ben! I’m a total newbie to action cameras and just bought myself the gopro 10, can you use a magic stick on that one? I love that feature that this cam has! It would be perfect for shooting riding my pev’s like you demonstrated, and since I don’t have a drone, I feel like this is the second best thing!
The stick will be visible since it’s not 360

Hey Ben, as always a nice and positive video! Almost too positive this time so it looks like an advertisement. Maybe there is to mention that the one r 1-inch360 has better image and color quality and the improvements on the X3 are not as great as it looks like…
Is the Mobile App able to export 4k videos now? Or still max out at 1080P Exporting

I think the quality of gopromax is better, but insta app seems much better

There is a short time in your video that you put x3 in the water. I wonder whether it's REALLY waterproof as advertised. e.g., using in the swimming pool or putting in a glass of water for at least 30 mins as a test?

we actually need the desktop studio upgrade.

Yup, stopped watching as soon as they said 5.7k. Garbage resolution. Despite the BIGGEST COMPLAINT from us active users wanting higher resolution.
You know I responded very disappointingly on your other videos as did hundreds of others. This x3 is more novelty related, dark video isn’t impressive… sad they refuse to listen to consumers that own their stuff.
When you edit the video goes right to 1080p and this in 2022? Nope!
They are blind to consumer requests and complaints. A bigger screen? Who cares, the other worked fine. Batteries can’t be interchangeable? Nope… oh wow, bigger sensor… great….. and same ole resolution.
And the issue is you can see the graininess in your room with low light, which the bigger center is supposed to help. Where we need it, which is in a much darker circumstance. This isn’t going to help at all. Still going to be grainy. .
Way to fail us again insta360. 😟
Still no replaceable lens. I'll pass on this one.
