My little 10 year old boy is special needs. Socially he's clueless. It's just who he is. He's also a brilliant artist. Plays classical piano. Skateboards with the best of them (his daddy) hes so handsome it kills my heart to watch him be. He's so much more than his label. He's also been bullied since the first days of school. I thought because of what I see in him there's no way he'd deal with what I grew up dealing with. As a long time sufferer and a mom it's so heartbreaking to know how he feels inside. That pain..the shame. It doesn't stop. People need to teach their children empathy. Even if they believe there's no reason to for their child..do it anyway. Repeatedly.

What a beautiful song! Love Mark Wills and of course I’m a huge Home Free fan! This makes me cry every time I hear it, I don’t understand how people can be so stupid and cruel 😢. I was bullied as a child that I’ve tried to forget but you never really get over it but please forgive them and your life will be better for it!❤

Chris, I too was bullied mercilessly...and in 8th grade one day I tried to commit suicide. I was so selfish, and I nearly broke my mother & father's hearts. I know that pain and it only got better after I fully committed my life to Christ....did it at my home church of 1st Baptist of South Miami (FL)....and now many years later I live as what is called in the Church I found as a home as a young husband and that is Sts. PETER & PAUL ORTHODOX CHURCH here in Miami. My father in law said his daughter had to marry an Orthodox man....and now I am tonsured as a Monk in Ordinary, and now bullying is something I help campaign for everyday. GOD bless you brother in Christ

What a great reaction! I was relentlessly bullied as well. At school and at home. It changed who I wanted to be for a very long time. I'm over it through Christ but it did take a toll on me. Subscribed!

As a neurodivergent parent of a neurodivergent child, I've not seen the problem of bullying improve a bit in an entire generation 😢 but I wholeheartedly appreciate Mark Wills and Home Free for spotlighting the issue.
This topic--and song--always make me cry...my heart hurts for our kids 💔

Thank you so much for your comment about disabled people. I have spina bifida and, while I wasn’t bullied for it as a kid, as an adult I’ve faced it a lot, especially with workplace discrimination. Now I work for one of my best friends, but without him taking a chance on me I’d still be up a creek because most people don’t give a crap about disabled people, let alone have a heart for them. The world needs more people like you. Thanks for being you, and for sharing your talents and wonderful personality with the world.

When the original was released by Mark Wills, I teared up all the way to the ugly cry each and every time I heard the this song. Now with the addition of Home Free, his daughter, the young lady signing, and the other amazing young people in the video……it’s a whole new level of emotion and reaction on my part. I can count the number of times I have watched this video. 😢😭

Your reaction is shared by many, Chris. Wasn't aware of this song or Mark Wills prior to Home Free releasing this video. It has inspired many to share painful experiences with emotions ranging from sobbing to outspoken rage. Unfortunately, bullying is a year 'round problem so applaud the guys for bringing awareness as best they're able.
One reactor I watched follows the young man featured in the video on TikTok and mentioned he's the CEO of '21 Pineapples' (the funky shirts). BTW, the tall gal in the blue dress, who joins Mark, is his daughter.

Mark Wills released this song nearly 25 years ago and the original video is heartwrenching as well. I'd love to see you react to another of his songs called Wish You Were Here. It's another emotional song, but oh so good! Home Free is my go to group for all my moods. They cover everything. But the way that they take on sensitive social issues is one huge thing that makes them so special. They respect our veterans and current military men and women. They collaborate with new artists and well established artists equally as well. Always giving the guests their time to shine. They just make my heart swell with emotion because they make being socially conscious a part of their personal and professional lives. ❤

Yeah, i may have also cried a little bit every time I've watched this Home Free video...
And I agree with your assessment about giving to homeless people -- you put it really well. I'd rather be 'a sap' and potentially give something to someone who's going to use it for the 'wrong' reasons, than not help someone because of unproven 'suspicions,' only for them to have really needed it after all.

I agree about the giving. You are responsible for you. If your heart leads you to help someone - DO IT. Ultimately it is our business to be about our business. Period.

My sister is a year and a half older than me, and her best friend was a mentally handicapped girl. So I decided at a very young age to never pick on anyone who was handicapped. I don't even use the words retard, lame or dumb as an insult. Of course being the smallest person in my grade, including the girls, I was bullied.

What a beautiful song and video. I'm right there with you, Chris. It's so close to my heart. One of my daughters is on the autism spectrum, and she is the sweetest girl ever. 🥰 Course, I am Mama, but she's God's precious gift to me.

A beautiful collaboration with Mark Wills a great singer and my favorite group Home Free in the background sounds fabulous. A beautiful song and video with a sad subject and important message.
I know what bullying is. Not by children, but by the teachers.
I never told my family and thought I could handle it all. Now I am 59 years old, and only 2 years ago did I find out what bullying has determined my life.
It's so good that it's getting attention. Because bullying has to end. Think about what you're doing to someone like that.

God gives us all challenges, even the most perfect person in your eyes is not perfect and we should all come together and be caring to one another no matter what. No bullying, no hate. No one is better than another. We all have strengths and weaknesses. My son has autism and he is very literal thinking and innocent, not a bad bone in his body, he is pure of heart. Many think he's a target for bullying, but there should be more people like him, his innocence is his strength.

Thank you for your response and bullying has unfortunately been a part of my son's life especially in elementary school. It got so bad I got the news that my son attempted to to *** in the 5th grade. We're grateful now that he has a great group of friends through the marching band. Once again thank you for being an Ally for these kids.

Anyone who bullies people, beats a woman, abuses children or beats animals is not a real Man or Woman. I was 3’4” until I was 14. Bullying sucks.
