When the cartoon turtles first came out it was a SDCC exclusive box set that came in an old school style vinyl case. Sadly mine came with a crushed case and some of the figures had really bad paint jobs… Well to my surprise they sent me another one by mistake. I was very close to keeping the second one for the simple fact that Neca made the mistake and how can they really prove that I received the package. They ended up sending me an email about their mistake, so I felt compelled to doing the right thing and sending it back, because I was afraid they would charge my credit card. Ultimately, I swapped out the figures with messed up paint jobs and also kept the vinyl case that wasn’t crushed, and sent back the rest of the stuff. Thanks Neca!

They shouldn’t have a punishment. I get wanting to make sure everyone gets a lab, but Neca is the one that messed up. Plus this has been floating over Facebook groups for a month or maybe even more and they are just now addressing the problem? I tried emailing them about my SDCC two pack, but I never got a response. Luckily it came in eventually. The right thing to do was to report it to costumer service, but I can’t blame someone for selling it or opening if they didn’t get a response for over a month. At least they didn’t try charging people double, but they probably only passed on it because it’s illegal.
