There is some good here -- the scale is definitely impressive, and the tram system works decently enough. Obviously the real test will be when they actually fill out the game with NPCs, interactables, and more active entities. Frame-rate was definitely an issue considering that with nothing else on the screen and no other active entities, the frames were tanking pretty badly. So let's see how the devs wrangle that.
My thinking playing the demo, it's down to Lumen. Turn that on, frames die. There's been no optimization or anything, it's all just straight 'plug it in' to my knowledge. The devs are going to need to consider lighting/light sources/etc down the road in terms of optimizing. Also being played at 4K. Even with DLSS, straight implementation of fully dynamic lighting/rendering is gonna make things break...A lot.
That guy is just a troll. Anyone with a functioning brain knows that Star Citizen is a playable game. Buggy as hell due to the servers, but playable nonetheless.
looks pretty this dev inspired by star citizen but will also inspire star citizen devs at this rate i love star citizen but sc just seems to be struggling more with technical problems than basically any other dev. ue5 sure seems comparatively plug and play, it just works with decent netcode and performance, also i love the amount of objects on screen and a good open view of large walkable city areas. in star citizen the landing zones are divided into smaller sections with hallways with corners in between to reduce the amount of stuff on screen at once, sadly. and the map and ui in general is just so readable here lol tho qanga still feels a bit like random assets thrown together, not a cohesive art style with impressive ships (yet) like in sc.
Looks janky as hell. So basically, exactly the same as Star Citizen 😂😂 I'm pretty sure this game is only one or two small updates behind SC. This game also probably has no funding... it's proof that SC is actually a huge scam.
You're ignoring the fact that this is early release and looks far better than SC looked several years ago. This looks amazing and SC needs some competition. Just the kick in the ass that CIG/Chris Roberts needs!
Dude the fact you can just land anywhere instantly makes this more impressive than star citizen
"fine ill do it myself" ah- indie game lol
There is a real probability that the dev was actually a SC backer who got fed up and actually did this lol.
CIG started as an indie team. Just FYI.
@@amiththomas3884 Not the case, I'm the composer of this game and none of the devs or team members has been involved in SC
@@CarlJohanRenault oh okay, good to know, it would just be funny if it were true. :P
got roads before star citizen
Meanwhile Bethesda makes a shopping centre in the middle of the sea, in a game without seamless travel, and calls it a city.
make pyro before they do
The hell is the gun sounds reminds me of the plastic pews at the grocery store that lights up
Star Citizen: "After 10 years in development we made a road that connects the space port to NB"
joke aside, this is really cool imo
this looks like it has soo much potential
Better frame rates than what I get in SC
Wow i wonder why
@kingssman2 you should try minecraft
those volumetric clouds are really cool

Kirkland brand Star Citizen
This looks really good!
lol look NO MASTER MODES
Is this like a Temu version of Star Citizen?
Looks good!
maybe if bigger dev gave it proper artistic approach, this looks like bunch free assets glued together
This is the game made from all the stills from PC gamer magazine.
I have more faith in this game actually releasing than I do SC.
I had the hardest time flying a ship on this game. I don't mean to compare to SC but is my only reference. I wish there was a proper tutorial
Whole E Sheet!! This looks fantastic and promising.
Great Value Star Citizen, made by Wish
Does it have master modes?
It has jet packs! I think I'll give this a try, if it has non arcadey flight model it could actually be good :)
So SC is out but with a different name....
Asset Flip Citizen 😅
Empty earth?
Hellllllllllooooooooooo…….
SC,n'a plus qu'à se rabier..😅
Assets were flipped here.

Um... no. Not ever.🙄
A rip off clone of Star Citizen, but actually works.
A star citizen clone with like 1 ship and the ground gameplay of a 2015 indie game that got abandoned 6 months in
@@spacedout4061StarCitizening is a lot of work
@spacedout4061 you said star citizen twice there.
@@dasbooterror how is a game that gets updated every couple weeks abandoned (if you are referring to the one ship part you are actually insane)

Already better than Star Citizen even in this state.
Better than Star Citizen tbh

bro got 4090 and 7800X3D to play this dog shit ahhaha
Yeah it sucks that you can only use a graphics card on one game now.

A city, but where are the inhabitants????
Standing on chairs somewhere, T posing.
Same thing could be said about star citizen LOL
Well they didnt fall into the center of the planet nor are they all T posing in the corner somewhere. HAHAHAA
