I love Phaseplant. For me it replaced Serum as my go to
And its improving and improving! Very nice synth, I only miss the fancy filters from Serum.
Letsynthesize I agree. Also Serum sounds better when you add multiple voices on an oscillator with fm on it IMO
In General, Phase Plant along with Icarus from Tone2 are probably the most under rated synths. Even more so when it comes to Dubstep sound design. The possibilities are nearly endless when it comes the unique sounds you can make. I still love Serum for it's simplicity but it is limited when compared to Phase Plant and even Icarus. Have you ever used Cypher 2? I've been messing around with it lately and from what I can tell it may be the most capable synth I've ever used but my god it's complicated and not user friendly at all. I would love to see some tutorials on cypher 2. At the moment almost no one has covered the synth and the manual doesn't really help much when it comes to developing a solid workflow within cypher 2.
I don' t think PhasePlant is 'underrated', every neuro/dubstep/basshouse producer I'm following is abusing it these days (not complaining, I love this synth)

Well yes and no. Serum is still very popular and powerful, but very outdated too imo.
PP is the synth of today!
@@Letsynthesize i actually never used Serum but listen to it a lot. I'm deep into PP;one can't find the time to master all the tools out there.
sometime i use vital for its peculiar plastic sound.

Yeh all these are very good synths. I’ve been developing a wicked dnb course using only Vital. It’s gonna be a robust one. Have you tried Current?
