Double click the amount fader in your modulation matrix that controls your master tune in Serum and type “12st” for 12 semitones. Way easier than memorizing the fader position value 🙌🏻
I thought I would add is that I learned all of this plus more by studying presets made by my favorite artist and recreating them step by step to see what makes their sounds special and what techniques I can learn and experiment with in my own sounds. It seriously upped my game and now im making preset packs of my own! Highly recomend doing this.
We really need some sound design tutorials on melodic mid- layers or cool zeds dead synths like ecstasy of soul, Griz where you are remix, wooli remix of into pieces. It’s so difficult to know how to make something beautiful like those
