Hey Dire, here's a tiny hint for when you're combining Mekanism / NC machines in the future: All of the Nuclearcraft machines actually accept (and automatically convert) the Mekanism gases into the respective Nuclearcraft (fluids), so you don't have to use those extra Rotary Condensentrators really ^^ Also, I'm not 100% sure about this second part, but I even think you can extract from them using gas conduits and they'll turn into Mekanism gases (when applicable) automatically, so this might be helpful for easy (and power efficient) automation of Ore Quintupling.
Huh. I wish i'd known that before. I built a mekanism-only ore quintupler and it uses something like 30-35krf/tick, nearly maxing out my 50 manuyllyn turbine setup. Now i have better power sources but back then it was an issue.
Verdiss There are EnderIO gas conduits available now, but I think they may actually be in a separate mod which I’m not sure is in this pack (not at my PC to check) so maybe not an option here. Good to know they exist though.
Dire, super easy way to automate Empowerer and probably Draconic Fusion Crafting(if they're in single mode) that I figured out myself and haven't seen anybody else use, not that I've looked very hard: Get actually additions item lasers and an item interface. Put them on all the pedestals, I usually use a compass to set the center one to a higher priority(not sure if needed). Connect the laser from item interface to the center, and then to the ones on the outside(not sure if this is necessary). Attach ME interface to Item Interface, put it in blocking mode. The item interface treats all inventories the other lasers connect to as a single inventory, kinda like a drawer controller, so blocking mode works perfectly with it. Make sure the center item is placed in the first slot of the recipe pattern so it's put in the center. If you shift-click it in from JEI this is the default. The last step is that you need to attach a separate item transport to the center to pull the output out, or I suppose you could use a filtered extract on the item interface, but only as long as the output of one recipe isn't needed as the input for another, so might not work on draconic. I think it's just more reliable to have a separate conduit/duct/etc pulling out the output directly, even if not as tidy. There you have it, perfectly automated, no setting all sorts of filters on the different pedestals, the lasers even look pretty nice.
In the future, you can drag the bucket of the required liquid from JEI to the filters! Saves you needing a bucket when you're initially setting up the process.
Instead of constantly exporting Sulfur, you can make a processing recipe that says 1 Sulfur = 1 Calcium Sulfate. The ratio is 1:1, as long as you have all the other stuff set up
does it matter though? the entire system will back stuff so at that point sulfur will stop being sent to the melter. i think his system is setup pretty nice. considering all the steps involved. he could of saved a step as gases get converted to liquids in NC machines. all he really has to do is slap a storage bus onto the crystilizer so that the AE2 system can pull from it when ever it's needed and hes done.
Okay Dire, 2 things, you've got 3 extra ender fluid and power conduits under that floor (unless you cleaned them up off camera, and you've got a void upgrade on the sulfur drawer.
He also has a 16-cubic meter (yay Minecraft space compression!) tank of hydrofluoric acid (which is... *very* nasty stuff) in the same room... in a *glass* tank. The only way I think it could be worse is if he were making chlorine trifluoride.
Either I did something wrong, or Xnet has a very small limit for transferring power. I don't remember being able to set a transfer rate on an energy channel and it prevented my ore processing from sieves from operating all the time (might also had been because of how many machines I was trying to power). Had to switch to Integrated Dynamics to get power to everything fast enough. Totally agree with using Xnet though. Great alternative to EnderIO (early on). (Went with ID instead of EnderIO since it's only 1 cable anyway and conduits are kind of boring (and eventually have a limit as well).)
zecuse Xnet power transfer is pretty beefy in this pack (or otherwise). You can see the transfer rate for the connectors in JEI. The advanced connectors have higher transfer rates for energy than the standard ones do, but even the standards are pretty good. That said, you certainly shouldn’t be having problems powering sieves with it unless you were choked on the power input (which can probably be handled with an advanced connector or an additional connector). I ran four sieves and four material stoneworks factories on the same XNet network with no issues.
Ok, right now I'm running 3 sieves, 2 stoneworks, and mekanism's ore tripling process. Power is coming from 3 gas burning generators feeding into an energy cube and it began struggling to stay on all the time. The generators were on their own network (using routers to transfer everything) and it didn't matter if the sieves and stoneworks were on the same network as the ore tripling, power would start struggling towards the end of the ore tripling machines. After switching to ID and setting the transfer rate to more than enough, power is fine.
Dire, you should consider storing all your ingots in compacting drawers. If you do, the system will register nuggets and blocks too, so you don't have to create patterns for those or craft them manually when you're making something manually.
The problem with that is the way that Storage Drawers and AE2 interact. If you have a compacting drawer with 1 block of iron, it shows up in AE2 as 1 block of iron, 9 ingots AND 81 nuggets, making AE2 thinking that is has all of that to craft with (27 ingots total, rather than just the 9 that are actually there). That means when it goes to craft something, it might think you have everything you need to perform the craft, when you actually don't. Don't get me wrong, I love storage drawers, especially compacting drawers, but this miscommunication between the mods makes autocrafting a little problematic when you are first starting out and have limited resources.
@@Kzorith I understand that's a potential problem. I've never run into that issue in practice though. Either that's because the amount of resources I have is sufficient or because the autocraft pattern doesn't need to use each type of item, usually just one of them, so it doesn't try to take more than it needs.
@@phantomofthelpac It's a very practical problem I've had in multiple packs. Refined Storage too. Usually happens in the earlier stages of the game when you are low on resources. Typically redstone glowstone and quartz because there are crafts that require blocks and pieces/dusts at the same time. When you click on "craft" in AE nothing happens because at that point AE tries to take out blocks and pieces to store them in the crafting units but fails to extract them because there are in fact not enough stored because once you take a block there are suddenly 4 or 9 pieces missing that weren't accounted for. Really neither AEs nor StorageDrawers fault, Minecraft inventories simply can't expose their content as "this is either 9 ingots or 1 block", and I doubt that AE's crafting planner would know how to cope with that either.
@@zapl80 Ha, I was literally testing this when you posted. Can confirm it just does not start the craft, which in my opinion is the best way to handle it and makes this storage method still worth doing. There are i guess three english Let's Player out there and if you want you can look them up. Hope you reed it and give it a look, i would be soo happy to see it on your channel :) Thx for all and have a nice day !!
Yeah, there’s a lot of crafting steps in this pack. By the end of the pack I had 64 ME Interfaces (and 256 molecular assemblers) nearly filled ... and that was with extensive use of UU.
there are a lot of things you cant use UU on, the machine cells he needs are one such item (of many). you also can't dupe any of the NC platings....you know what pretty much anything you would want to dupe you can't and the things that don't matter you can. that sums it up. UU matter for the most part is useless, overly complex and quite honestly over hyped. just build more me interfaces and more assemblers, don't forget to make 2-3 big cubes full of co-processors and enough storage to do a insane craft. also never forget to have a bunch of stuff pre-crafted by me interfaces > crafting cards. there is a whole lot to do in the pack so there is little reason to not abuse the fact that you can have things pre crafted ahead of time. once you get to this point you have unlimited resources and that's without even doubling anything....
There also things you can’t autocraft like dragon hearts (of which you’ll need many), chaos shards, etc. You don’t NEED UU, it’s just a question of how easy / hard you want to make things for yourself. I’ve played the pack with and without, multiple times, and one way is much easier, smoother than the other.
Dire insist of stating multiple times in multiple episodes that he will NOT made TE machines, not looking ahead that this pack REQUIRED him to pretty much using all the TE machines.... #DireDerp

@@nitramreniar ohhh I'm sorry. I was thinking of hydrochloric acid. It's not as strong and can be stored in glass right?
@@diamonje Yes, hydrochloric acid can be stored in glass containers, but as an acid it's actually stronger than hydrofluoric acid - hydrofluoric acid can dissolve glass because the fluorine forms a volatile compound with the silicon in the glass
yeah, I'm pretty sure that room would be filled with The Devil's Chimchee pretty quick were it not minecraft.
Oh my gosh that's a lot of crafting for energy cell can't you make a basic cell and upgrade it to signalium ?
He isn't doing this for the signalum cell. He is doing this to help make the elite plating from NuclearCraft, which needs crystal binder, which needs calcium sulfate, which needs this insanely awesome process.
@@dominorider9879 ......you do know he needs the cell frame to make the elite plating right ? Also your icon looked like your yelling at me in a weird way
@@killermimmic101 Yeah just realized I'm dumb, we were talking bout different things. You can't upgrade it to Signalum because it is a cell frame, and not a power cell itself.
Nice episode and result, but rooms 5 x 5 x 5 are really too small, with all the space you could use, you have compact all in 5 by 5... I've never said but I have to admit I miss the rooom 9 x 9 x 9.
Hey Dire, do you know Factorio ? It should suite you very good :)
It's all about building big factorys (that's why it's called Factorio but psssst I think it's a secret ;)) and there are so many Mods out there wich can be installed pretty easy and are so powerfull... you would have a great time playing it. I can really recomand this game to you and hope you give it a look in a stream or even in an episode. There is a Modpack out there called Sea Block and it's close to Minecraft Skyblock but so many times harder. There are i guess three english Let's Player out there and if you want you can look them up.
Hope you reed it and give it a look, i would be soo happy to see it on your channel :)
Thx for all and have a nice day !!
He's done a Let's Play with Factorio before. Check his older videos.
He and Soaryn played Factorio back in 2015, so I'm pretty sure he does know it :P
@@Aturixios Ok didn't know that xD well it's far better nowdays :)
is the entire comment section just people correcting dire?
And this is why I stay away from ”expert mode” Minecraft. I like to play the game, not have brain melt. ;)
For the love of god i hope you can uu matter those blocks needet for rocketry . 😅
I am surprised he hasn't added morph mod and killed a raven yet..
are flares any good with morph?
well done!
What part of the US is Dire from? I like his ‘jawb’ and ‘awrange’. Wonder what accent that is. :)

Bawston, Mawsachuwsetts?
He’s from Pennsylvania. This isn’t even close to a Boston accent btw.
Also: warter
the crafting steps are starting to get silly, you may want to consider UU soon instead of teaching a whole new mess to the AE system
You NEED to make one anyway first. Since Dire auto craft from the start, create one is all he need to create any. No need to use UU at all
@@RaymondYung88
exactly!
Dire turning off Mekanism sounds in the config rather than using muffling upgrades. Such a cheater!
Dire insist of stating multiple times in multiple episodes that he will NOT made TE machines, not looking ahead that this pack REQUIRED him to pretty much using all the TE machines....
