A vendor sells them at our local farmers market for some time now. I didn't know that they had the name "cotton candy" until I tried sold at Whole Foods.
I'm really glad to know that they are produced using just good 'ole simple cross-breeding and that they are NOT genetically engineered in any way or injected with or soaked in or fed through the roots with any kind of man-made candy flavoring. They do a good job of keeping it NATURAL!!!
Omg! When I first experienced these grapes was at my local Publix! But they told me a couple of weeks ago they were not in season,I'm so disappointed in hearing this,I'm not a big grape eater but man these are forever stuck in my mouth! A little costly but worth it!! YUMMY 😋
I’m not a big grape fan but when l do enjoy them they must be sweet ripe and crunchy. These grapes are that and l love em they are the sweetest grapes l’ve ever eaten yummy.

I am enjoying some cotton candy grapes right now as I am watching this video. How did youtube know I was eating cotton candy grapes to recommend me this video?
Dj Stokes I have had one bag that didnt taste like cotton candy but every other time they was right. Look for the more yellow color ones bc they are more mature and more sugar content.
They are the same price as normal grapes in the UK at the moment. I would have said they are very sweet grapes but can understand why they are called cotton candy. Not sure but I would guess they have more natural sugars than normal grapes.
@@suitedsuperhero3155 I have been a few times and to a vineyard once, most people don't understand how important the agricultural sector is in the US and how constant inovants are made plus it sells the huge surplus of food at a reasonable price to other nations. But I still can't understand one thing, why do they keep on using High fructose corn syrup as a substitute for sugar in drinks and food. The food in the US has too much sugar and I can't stand the taste of soda with corn syrup. Now that sugar beats are a profitable crop that are easy to grow and harvest and when processed the sugar that is made is exaxrlt the same as cane sugar plus you can use the left over processed beet material as a free or cheap source of pig feed. I spend a few years in the US and would have to go hunting for Mexican soda that had came sugar lol. France likes to think it has the best grapes and wine but in reality it's not so good and since so much of it is unsold every year, rather than selling it cheap they just send the stock they can't sell to be turned into industrial alcohol. For me cotton candy grapes are more of a novalty but cali grapes of any kind are nice and I think in some decades wtje good wine from cali won't be looked as cheap wine but good wine. It's pretty funny in the UK now as they put in an alcohol tax that needs a minimum amount of money to buy per unit of alcohol, in the past you would see homeless alcoholics drinking hard cider and its not the fancy stuff sold in the US its more akin to malt liquor, 6 to 9% alcohol 1 2 or 3L bottles and I don't think it has any apple juice just fermented sugar with flavoring. Realy nasty stuff and only drank it once as a teen. Now they are drinking bottles of wine from South Africa, Austialia and cali as some of the cheaper bottles you can get 3 for 10 to 15 pounds so the amou t of alcohol you get works out better than beer for the money. We also have a sugar tax and a 1.5L bottle of coca cola costs 3 dollars now. But they only tax soft drinks not food or anything else.
They're seasonal, you can Google them to see what stores have them. I tried them at work one day, then brought some. I hate the whole bag within 10 minutes. They're absolutely delicious!!!
Costco. Kroger's Shoprite trader Joe's. Oh you'll find them. Just go in the right month in season if they're all out you can have a special order made with the store to make sure you get your nostalgic experience. Good eating to you ...
Well. I'm gonna say I'm eating them now too. Speak it into existence. I've been. Calling my local grocers everyday to see if they've made it on the shelves so I can speed (Safely) to get me some
As a certified nutritionist, fruits are the healthiest foods we can eat. Most people are severely deficient in fruit, partly because most fruit available in the US doesn't taste great. That makes these tasty grapes superheroes! Did you know that unlike table sugar, fruit sugar doesn't require insulin to be absorbed into our cells making it idealfor those looking to prevent or reverse type 2 diabetes. Diets high in fruit are shown to have a low risk of heart disease too.

If they were “bred” by humans, is it still “Natural”
Cross breeding is more or less a form of genetic engineering, just a less sophisticated version than some others
They are delicious. I'm eating some now. $5 a pound I paid $10.75 for a bunch 🍇
