Excellent tie! I clip the bottom hackle off to allow the fly to ride a little lower in the water. The fly appears more vulnerable to the fish that way.

I don't use many with catskill style hackles, I prefer to fish my flies like you stated in teh film.
Do you ever fish and or tie a white wulff?
At times but they are good on the white mayfly hatch.
