*SPARK GO BLUE TOOTH DISCONNECTING* There seems TO be another issue with the Spark Go disconnecting from Bluetooth on Android phones/tablets. After doing some digging, one common resolution is to change the display refresh rate of your device to 60hz. Why? Heck if I know, but it's worth a shot.
Sounds better plugged into a stereo or an amp . But honestly for the price , a practice amp . Worth it because I get right to it wherever I'm at . I'm thinking of starting a channel specifically for patches on different modelers. I've got a few real good ones for the " spark go" . I'll admit it wasn't easy , the little speaker and limited shaping options , tends to sound harsh and brittle by nature.
The crackle sound is real, the hi output setting helps, but it does it with every guitar I own, single coil, humbuckers, all of them. But yet it doesnt crackle when I blast music from youtube or spotify. I dunno, seems like the speaker should be able to handle anything the amp can throw at it. I also own the Spark 40 and it doesnt have this issue. It has other issues, but not a crackle issue. The saving grace is the Go can be used as a effects pedal jacked in to a real amp.
I gave up on trying to make it sound good at high volume and sold it. It's doesn't have as many settings, but I found the NUX Mighty Air to sound much better.
Was so frustrated with the issues I had with this amp I returned it and bought a NU-X. Tried all the documented tweaks and fixes but still couldn’t cure the cut outs and general lack of sustain on notes.
