It's somewhat amusing how there are comments on every upload this chanel does that states that "This is the best one I've heard on this chanel!" But it just shows how awsome all the dungeon synth artists really are. For anyone who might read this: have a good night!
@@tja9212 Yeah this is somewhat of a problem, dungeon synth is great in that its DIY and easy to make it but there is a wealth of mediocre DS, that ultimately many people, myself included enjoy. I think by nature it's a very specific and subjective genre and your favourites will be yours because they make you feel a certain way, even if the music is simple and amateurish.
@@tja9212 That's right. I mean the term is so abstract. I'm currently exploring this genre and basically every video had "This is the best one I've ever listened" "This might be the most ~~ one" comments at the top. I mean...it's natural because taste differs, but I'm like "Meh...is this the best one again?" because there were pretty lots of meh ones too. I say it would be better to describe us that 'best' feeling you got so that we can tune into that frequency and vibe together.
Glorious, transporting, mystical, comforting, inviting, ethereal....this one is top notch! Helps me go into "Wizard in his tower" mode whilst I study for my Masters!
I absolutely love Darken Woods's stuff, but this is by far the most creative album yet in my opinion. My 2 year old niece whom I'm raising loves it and is almost instantly soothed by it when I play it.
just heard this yesterday while taking a nightly walk - was really fitting the gloomy scenery! can someone please name some similar ds-albums - I also enjoy Grimdor a lot
Kissed by poison fire is one of my favorite dungeon synth songs and even one of my favorite songs period, absolutely incredible album

or it shows how people just talk in superlatives anymore, hyping everything up... but indeed, nice wide genre and excellent channel.

00:00 The soundtrack of my life.
the wind sounds make me feel like i'm walking alone at night, alone with my thoughts and at peace with the bleak yet comforting landscape arround me
Isto é um álbum feito por alguém que está apaixonado.
Vamos sentir o amor
This first track, paired with its title, hits like a ton of bricks. So gorgeous and sorrowful.
😢😢😢😢
Is this the Darkenwood from Seattle, WA ? The brother of my old buddy Phil Debant?
Fruther
Listening to this whilst I make my fantasy dungeon crawler games.
Will this album be good...let's find out
Why the référence?
James Latham -So good I’m now listening to it for the fourth time since it was posted yesterday!
Drakon - Dude wanted to find out if the album was good or not. What’s so “irrational” about that?
whats the hidden meme?
@@flammenwerfer9645 I'm looking so hard but I can't see it. Help me Flammenwerfer-sama!

Damn Darken Wood's albums are so good... They have such an earthy, magical feel to them. They're so unique ♥
AVE!!
Brilliant! Epic!! Amazing!!
only problem with so many of these albums is that their sound quality is so absurdly low. don't know if it's the recording or the upload
Oh Gods, YES 😍
It reminds me the soft music from some great Doom WADs I've played before, and that's awesome! 🤘
this has some really great moments.
Love this. However, there's a missing track which is the last, titled 'Releasing the Spirit'.
