Travessia Capivari 25 setembro 2024

Travessia do morro Capivari Grande (município de Campina Grande do Sul-PR) até Antonina (pouso dos búfalos) no dia 25 de setembro de 2.024. Cinco pilotos fizeram a travessia com vento NW moderado. Hora da decolagem: entre 13h19 até 13h30. A rampa escolhida foi abaixo da principal acima das antenas para trás da trilha já que o morro sofreu um severo incêndio no início do mês. A grande quantidade de fumaça devido às queimadas no Brasil ficou evidente nas imagens. As ascendentes partiam bem em frente ao local escolhido para decolagem com ciclos curtos e consistentes. O primeiro a decolar foi Rafael Carvalho seguido por Israel Rocha, Maurício Fontoura, Selmo Luiz e Eduardo Heineberg. Em poucos minutos Rafael e Israel embarcaram a 5m/s em uma termal que os levou aos 2.500m e daí a Antonina; a seguir foram Maurício e Selmo a 3.2m/s e alguns minutos depois peguei uma termal de 3.1m/s para acompanhá-los. Após as decolagens e travessia dos quatro primeiros pilotos, o vídeo mostra a travessia sem cortes do início, a 2.500m de altura, até o pouso no campo dos búfalos em Antonina para tirar a dúvida comum aos pilotos que ainda não fizeram este trajeto, já que o percurso sobre 15km contínuos de floresta Atlântica merece toda a atenção, principalmente se houver vento contrário no caminho. Com esse espírito os pilotos Israel e Maurício fizeram neste dia sua primeira travessia capitaneados por Rafael e Selmo respectivamente. Esta foi a segunda travessia do Capivari no ano de 2.024, com a primeira sendo realizada por apenas dois pilotos: Cláudio Kleina e Jorge Milsted no dia 14 de janeiro, este fato torna ainda mais especial o momento.

In this spirit, pilots Israel and Maurício made their first crossing on this day, captained by Rafael and Selmo respectively. This was the second crossing of the Capivari in 2024, with the first being carried out by just two pilots: Cláudio Kleina and Jorge Milsted on January 14th, this fact makes the moment even more special.
