Love that comment, "I might have some daddy issues to work through, and I'm gonna use music to get it done".
Afie so humble (and Canadian) that his response to blowing up via Taylor Swift was to move to Rosedale. Speaks volumes.
Recently got turned onto Bahamas - what an authentic & intelligent guy. Great tunes.
A so underappreciated genius!!! A massive talent and true artist, Why Afie isn't a big star is just one of life's mysteries.
been listening to him for years. every year he doesn't blow up i am shocked
After listening to Sad Hunk Afie has done exactly what he talked about here. Wackier, direct and accessible to more people. I’m having a great time.
I love the women in the background. They offer so much. His voice is velvet.
I was introduced to him listening to Jack Johnson radio on Spotify.
Seeing him at the House of Blues next month in Boston!
Man o man a great interview. A must see. Pragmatic au boutte! We saw you at FolkFest in Sept '17, can't wait to see you again.
Mariposa Folk Festival 2018
Ohhhh way down yonder on the Chattahoochee never knew how much that muddy water meant to meeeeeeeee! Amazing interview ya beauties
thats proly one of my favorite studio performances of all time
My mother raised us to listen to whatever music we loved, whatever moved us. I think that kept my mind open to many beautiful realizations.
Why are they referred to as "D'Angelo's band"? Pino Palladino is a renowned bassist, and he more recognizably plays in the John Mayer Trio.
I'm a big John Mayer fan. That being said, "Voodoo" > "Try!" and/or "Continuum".
I don't know the person you mention but it links with my feeling with the lack of respect of the way this "artist" refers to people he'
So he's named Bahamas but never mentions going there.
if anyone finds that wonderful tonight cover, let me know!
this is soooo great
fur shir fur shir
Man, I sure hope they get back to St. Louis soon. Their music just hits the spot every time. Even my fiver year old walks around singing it.
I love Afie and Bahamas.
R. Alexander but bahamas is afie
Christian Ehrhart yes, if you know the history. That's actually even the title of his last album.
Afie is the GOAT!!!!!!
