Those 3 women were Googoosh, Mahasti, and Ramesh. Mahasti and Ramesh are deceased. Good old days. People were much nicer and happier.
In 1979 I was in the third year of Medical School in Tehran University...unfortunately and or fortunately I left for US because of the sad and horrible Islamic Revolution...Iran in 1970s was truly advanced in every aspect of life. Women were free in every way. We were free to choose to wear super mini skirts and bikinis, or traditional or better said Islamic attire ( Chadoor ). What can I say...

By not realising that we had a lot that other nations did not. Look at what happened to the Arabs of the Persian Gulf, Turkey and Israel after the demise of Iran. We did not fight for it. Simply gave it up.

1. The kings of oil , written by andrew scott Cooper
2.the fall of heaven , written by andrewscott cooper
3.jimmy carter and liberall left party , written by DR.Mike eivans.
4.The 1977 to 1979 newspapers of us and England in the field of currency and energy crisis
5.interviews of Shah Iran, which resisted the reduction of oil rates

Mace, the Azadi (freedom) tower was made by Shah (King) and it was called Shahyad, meaning memory of Shah, so you can guess why the name was changed, and was opened in 1972 vs Islamic regime that came to power from 1979, and it's 45m.
They changed many of the old names of streets and destroyed alot of monuments but this one although made as the Gate of Cyrus, also the king of kings, ( the Islamic regime being against any history of the Kings!), was too much famous and a landmark of Iran, so fortunately they had to keep it but they changed the name to Azadi(freedom)
And yes all the music was of Googoosh. The first 3 women in the picture were Googoosh, Masashi and Ramesh.
The others you were right about the single photo of Googoosh and Hayedeh. The ones with baby on their backs were Googoosh with her son, Kambiz ( he sang few songs but haven't heard of him since long ago) and Mahasti with her daughter, Sahar.
Everyone were free, happy, our money had value and I remember my dad got a US visa for the whole family in one day! We had respect, and our passports were valuable. Now I haven't seen my family for 12 years! They don't issue them a visa!, and many more things of inside Iran, which is too much to write here.

There were nott serious issues. Iranian were the happiest, wealthiest people and comfortable lifestyle in Pahlavi's time. Iran destroyed by Westerners politicians conspiracy. Particularly, Jimmy Carter! And ofcours we had and still we have some Iranian betrayers that helped the situation...

I lived only ten years of my life in Iran and it was the best glorious time of my life which I miss so much. Iranians, not all of them, have been fighting modernization for over the past 100 years. The religious clerics have been in front of preventing modernization that was created by the west to take its shape in Iran. At the end of the day it’s the people themselves who make and help their country to progress.
The first square is not the Freedom square.its Top-khane square which is located in the Tehran's city centre.
I can't say anything about it 👌it's absolutely different from now😔I think this is not our past....its like our future

it seems the slides want to tell us about women in Iran before 1979 have enough freedom and safety.
BTW that wasn't Pahlavi square (please don't call it freedom square)
It was a different country. It had respect and standing in the region and in the world. Iranians were not rich then, but they were a hell of a lot better off than now. There was poverty, there was abject poverty, but at least genuine attempts were being made to eradicate it. A large portion of the people were still illiterate and ' religiously conservative '. They had deep suspicion and fear of modernisation, no doubt flamed by listening to the poisonous sermons of the Mullahs and the communists. There was little political freedom, but people had every other freedom in line if not exceeding, that of the west. The problem as always, was that Iran had huge reserves of natural resources. Other people had designs on it, and the monarch at the helm was not relenting. Work the rest out for yourself.
There were no poverty as we have right now! Shah was working well so we could have everything by now! Just like other countries. We could go up and he was doing great!
