Fantastic video, Seb. I love your analysis and your consideration for different playstyles besides 4/4 discord stomping. While some of these items weren't too great, I do love how items now are a lot more creative than items of the past even if they aren't as strong. DECA seems to be (slowly) moving away from the monotonous gameplay, which a lot of these items de-incentivize
A side note on the drums. The interaction with cancelling the mandolin shot speed reduction is something that always happened with tiered lutes anyway since it affects your shot speed in order to increase your range, so this effect can be reproduced with any tiered lute, or better yet, the wavecrest concertina.
They've buffed parasol now as well, so you can do small dashes too, so if you dash away from the enemy correctly, every projectile will hit doing like 4200, and if you're a little off, still upwards of 3000
i redeemed my hardmode token from the event for the bow and i deeply regret my choice. now that i have all the items besides the umi ring i can say this list is pretty accurate and the watch was pretty entertaining. ty for your gameplay and some number breakdown great vid seb

when you said a 30% discout gets you 30% extra mana i nearly cried because thats so wrong, its like 40something%, the way you find the "bonus X" from an X cost reduction is take 100, subtract the flat number representing the % reduction, and then multiply the result of that back up to 100, and whatever number you needed to do that is the multiplier you get to your mana, IE: -50% is 2x mana, -33% is 1.5x mana, -25% is 1.33x mana
Kimono felt good when I used it on a gemstone sorcerer for smashing godlands/glands dungeons, just for the +7spd and the decent +12wis. I usually do not value mana on items, but it synergized with gemstone (had 76 spd, 81 wis, no exalts. Condu/T7/Kimono/Gemstone). Niche use case, but it farmed pots faaaaast Despite the effort of this one you'd need to remake this if/when the proposed buffs for many of the items come out :D
People called the sheath bad just because the main thing about kensei is having fun. Being restricted to minimum dash distance just feels sluggish. Not many bosses let you dash over them consistently, meaning the shots from it won't hit the target most of the time.

And thanks for putting so much effort into this LONG AWAITED video!...now watch as i proceed to correct you like the horrible little nerd girl i am... -Point 1. -Regarding the rain maker and it's MP Drain functionality, Similar to how the Crystal Shield works, You CANNOT reduce the rate at which the MP is drained by using the interregnum leather OR coral ring/gemstone, Making the theoretical "BIS" for a rainm maker build the aforementioned Thousand Shot, And either the ST skuld rogue leather from the haunted cemetery OR the harlequin armor + a ubmana for added MP which would allow you to use the rain maker for longer...Still an utterly worthless trap but this basically knocks it down from C tier to a VERY low D, Potentially the absolute lowest because i'm pretty sure the game isn't even capable of handling how fast the rain drops are SUPPOSED to generate when using a t-shot, Resulting in a lot of extra unintended shots being fired, Even WITH that bug, It is still a horrific trap to use in practice- **EDIT** Apparently i was completely WRONG about the rain maker, the MP drain is absolutely reduced by gemstone and the interregnum leather, Testing it on the dummy in the guild hall with a tshot, being careful to aim SLIGHTLY offcenter so only the raindroplets would hit the dummy, I did on average 11600 dps with skuld leather and ubmana, and 17000 with interregnum leather and gemstone, i found i did around 300 dps or so more using the skuld leather with gemstone, but that hardly matters, I get stuff wrong too sometimes, It DOES make me wonder how tf they coded this item cause im pretty sure it doesn't reduce the cost of crystal shield at all Point 2. In regards to the Flowering Kimono's stats, It gives the HIGHEST +spd and +mp of any robe in the game at +7 and +120 respectively, and since the patch/update back in...may i believe, ALL of the armor spirits will last the same duration as their cooldown even as a basic level 1 spirit, Making It is possible to keep the healing buff up PERMANENTLY on whichever character you have, While the mantle DOES a higher burst healing with it's vit proc AND better survivability on account of having an increase to +max hp, the kimono has value as a hybrid between a defensive robe and a speedy/ability focused robe, obviously a mad robe or ritual robe would be better for ability focused builds, But the combination of effects i believe puts it well above D tier . Point 3 The Ethereal Happi's -spd proc is genuinely disgusting and renders it so horrendously bad as to be laughable, A leather that gives +15 def and -10 spd and NOTHING ELSE (as established the curse effect is extremely unreliable due to it's poor range and the overall effectiveness of the spirits in general as discussed in the video) One would be MUCH better off using the FAR more maligned Armor of Nil from The Void, Providing a whopping +30 def along with -6 spd, and as for the +spd of it, A rusher would benefit FAR more from the use of the Turncoat Cape from Treasurer Gemsbok, Providing +18 def and +10 spd, 5 less than happi when not shooting sure..but with the added benefit of the Invisibility proc Turncoat provides, 3 seconds of invisibility on a 5 second cooldown if hit by ANY shot that does above 30 damage, while sure you could argue that Happi would be better in a realm clearing scenario on account of that +5 speed, I'd argue the invisibility gives you a TON of safety and insurance when say..rushing through a stacked godlands, OR having the QoL to leave your autofire on which 99% of realm players do for the most part, without being hampered by the -spd proc on the Happi Point 4. The Tezutsu Hanabi is genuinely quite overrated, Leaving aside the flame which CAN BE broken if you can juggle the stockpile for upgrades and get the flames to ACTUALLY track and run onto a target, The scepter has an exorbitant cost at 100 mp ,per use at a base cost, reducing to 70 mp with a gemstone, Compared to the rust scepter's cost of 75 mp at a BASE cost, and going down to an insane 53 mp per use with gemstone, Making it FAR and away more spammable in most content, The vit mod for the shockblast, which is an increase to number of targets hit basically REQUIRES you to wear the mantle of the monarchy for it to be effective at crowd clearing, if talking pure single target exclusively hanabi scepter would have a tougher time competing with the likes of the Devastation Scepter from parasite chambers, on a dps sorcerer build of vesture/crown, deva costs 80 mp per use and does around 2400 damage PER USE between its lightning and shockblast while ALSO providing an additional +4 atk on equip on top of that, while the best a hanabi can do with a similar set is the pitiful 175 non armor piercing lightning shot, and 750 armor piercing damage which doesn't even come CLOSE to matching devastation's effectiveness even before taking into account that hanabi is 20 mp more expensive, I would also argue that micromanaging the flames and stockpiles on hanabi to their maximum efficiency is WAY harder to do in practice than the devastation's issue of having a narrow cone, Of course hanabi isn't a TERRIBLE scepter, The added +hp and +vit helps a lot when considering how much of a frail glass cannon sorcerer can be sometimes, but i would NEVER put it in a tier above A, It is good, maybe even great, But in terms of BiS it is a swapout at best Acouple minor pitpicks here at the end You stated during your segment regarding the Makakoyumi that the state of being In Combat disables your pet, In reality being IC simply delays your heal/mheal by 2 seconds, While also halving the regeneration rates of vitality and wisdom, It IS worth noting that even with +45 mp every 3 seconds + the halved wisdom still wouldn't allow you to keep the double buff of drums+mandolin up permanently as mandolin lasts 4.5 seconds at 110 mp cost, and drums lasts 5 seconds at 100 mp cost, meaning you need to spend 210 MP every 4.5 seconds (as you need to use mandolin first before drums in order to maintain the high shot speed+range), Still it is a small inaccuracy i wanted to point out cause i'm a no life nerd who knows too much about this game.. When describing the Mischief and the Vigor, You incorrectly read the damage by taking into account the exaltation bonus damage as opposed to the actual base damage of the shots (What's funny about that is you correctly stated the damage numbers of the makakoyumi during that segment) You neglected to mention a MASSIVE benefit to using the Token of Happiness over the Token of Warmth, When in a petless/HM moonlight village, Using the Token of Happiness allows for a paladin to use the Seal of Blasphemous Prayer AKA Oreo on cooldown with pretty much no other investment necessary, Allowing for a FAR easier and cheesier time in the dungeon The Sage's Wakibiki's stats are genuinely great for what they are, Providing the highest consistent +wis of any heavy armor when taking into account Resu's debuff proc, Making it an ideal swapout on a group support paladin wanting to buff their seal, OR eeking out an extra 0.4 seconds of invuln on an Oreo, Along with being quite useful on a kensei going for a Wismod build using the volcanic sheath from Abyss of Demons, Increasing the radius and damage of the explosions AAAAAAAAAND...I think that's all the notes i had, Overall an amazing video and i am supremely glad for it!

@@sebchoof You are actually right about that, I went in game and tested it again, and i read the update again, it was that the MAXIMUM length the spirits survived was increased to match the cooldown duration, so it is possible with a MAX level spirit to have them up permanently, not a level one
perhaps a tier list of items that shit on casual content, like glands dungeons and glands. i feel like items in this game are sometimes designed around ease of use (pixie sword) versus optimal (colo sword), and I much prefer pixie for say, easier content, because it is easier to use. Kagenohikari is pronounced Ka Ge no hikari kage means shadow in japanese and hikari is light so its basically means shadow's light or light's shadow not sure exactly

Eh with the vigor you're missing waves of a shots at a time whereas that won't be the case with t14, so dps overall is pretty bad Just like how Valor is better than Enforcer on many bosses, because its so easy to miss half the shots when they're moving even just a little
you now need a book item to access trumi, which is crafted with 5 rare pages from regular umi, the boss also has permanent drought and less drops because it doensnt drop the yellow flame and instead a title :P
Just trying to give a bit of constructive criticism: I feel like the video is a bit too long. As a long-term fan I don't mind it, I really enjoy longer content like this, but if you want to attract new audience it's better to make shorter videos. In this case, you could've probably split it into 2 parts, a video that explains what the items do and another video that showcases this tier list and your reasoning for it. (Also, in the description you have a minor grammar error "an permadeath game" and "thankyou")
Its pretty demotivating how the whites from these dungeons are mostly for fun usage and not that great when compared to others and keeping in mind the difficulty on how to get these the rewards are so meh and underwhelming
Ok ik this isn't relevant but why the fuck is there 3 status effects that mess up your movement, it's a bullet hell game but u can be paralysised by getting hit once and insta die cause ITS A BULLET HELL GAME. I've gotten pre high with multiple characters now and instantly died by getting hit with 1 bullet that applied confusion or the other 2 like why is it in the game it's not fair or fun.

It makes me so mad that event whites like cdirk get outshined by other daggers that are WAY easier to get they’re pretty much obsolete it’s just wack with how rare they arw
Eh with the vigor you're missing waves of a shots at a time whereas that won't be the case with t14, so dps overall is pretty bad
Just like how Valor is better than Enforcer on many bosses, because its so easy to miss half the shots when they're moving even just a little

9% items dont drop atm, trumi guarantees the upgrader from a third loot bag
you now need a book item to access trumi, which is crafted with 5 rare pages from regular umi, the boss also has permanent drought and less drops because it doensnt drop the yellow flame and instead a title :P
Items now are so complicated.
I prefer that to be honest than the old stat sticks

I feel like the video is a bit too long. As a long-term fan I don't mind it, I really enjoy longer content like this, but if you want to attract new audience it's better to make shorter videos. In this case, you could've probably split it into 2 parts, a video that explains what the items do and another video that showcases this tier list and your reasoning for it.
(Also, in the description you have a minor grammar error "an permadeath game" and "thankyou")

Its pretty demotivating how the whites from these dungeons are mostly for fun usage and not that great when compared to others and keeping in mind the difficulty on how to get these the rewards are so meh and underwhelming

Ok ik this isn't relevant but why the fuck is there 3 status effects that mess up your movement, it's a bullet hell game but u can be paralysised by getting hit once and insta die cause ITS A BULLET HELL GAME. I've gotten pre high with multiple characters now and instantly died by getting hit with 1 bullet that applied confusion or the other 2 like why is it in the game it's not fair or fun.
