I can't find a masking tape that doesn't destroy japanese paper or watercolor paper....which one do you use?? is it yellow frogtape or a softer washitape?? please help TT-TT
I’m using regular making tape but I make sure I have enough space for safety margins. Also wash I use is very strong so that why it don’t effect it as much? When I take off the tape, some strings of paper with come of but not enough to break the paper.
hi there what kinde of paper do you usualy use. The washi paper i tried hat a lot of blowout when i painted on it. Maybe you could give me a hint in the right direction. Great work as usual!!
Hello 👋 all the materials I use are listed on th descriptions, please check it out. When is washi is raw, (it don’t have any sealing) it will most likely to have blow outs. There is this liquid call “dosa” to apply (some sort of Japanese gesso) and it can prevent more from blow outs. Thank you so much for checking out the video 🙏🙏

和紙を伸ばすとテープが剥がれてしまうのですか？
マスキングテープを使うと和紙がシワシワになってしまいます。
そうですね、難しいですね。
これは和紙の厚さ、強度にもよると思います。
薄い和紙は水にあまり濡らさずテープで少しずつ貼ると私は伸びる様な気がします。
色々試してみてください。
