Thanks for watching and commenting! I think you could play with kids who are younger than 4 but I would recommend having them play with other older kids or an adult for sure so that they can help out. Give them just one room to start but it will also depend on the kid.
The light that comes with the game (which is mandatory) comes broken. You can change out the batteries but its extremely fiddly to do so requiring you to touch the circuit board with your fingers and possibly need to re-solder parts. Not worth the trouble. Lots of complaints about this out there which is why I assume this was not for sale on amazon (because it would get very bad reviews). Get ready to use a flashlight and a stopwatch in order to play. This game was not ready to launch in the state it was in due to the design failure of the light. I have yet to see a reviewer address this problem, yet consumers all seem to have it. The instructions say there is an app that you can download if the light fails but that app is no longer available to download.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I had not heard about or experienced this problem myself. I appreciate you bringing up this concern as a possibility but the fact is that my copy has never had any issues. It is good to know that some have had this issue and something to be aware of. That would be very frustrating.
@@HowLouSeesIt Seems that people who got the game 2-3 years ago when it came out don't have problems with it, but people who got it recently have these problems.
@@papatubez3062Oh, that is disappointing to hear. It is a fun little game but that light is definitely the key component that needs to be functional. I hope that they can fix/resolve the issue.
@@HowLouSeesIt We played last night with a phone using a timer and the flashlight and it was just fine. game was fun. We wondered why the wooden tokens were covered in glossy finish...the glare makes the objects sometimes impossible to see in the house with light shining on them. kind of a poor design choice.
Thanks for the video! For your opinion, will this game work with kids
