    Sue the hotel for lack of security and .Sue the police department for lost property and punitive damages for their lack of response to getting the people their vehicle back.

      Suing the hotel won't do anything. Even if they had security, they wouldn't be any more effective than a retail guard. Nobody's taking a bullet for minimum wage.

    The valet was in on the whole thing and NOPD knew where the truck was for TWO days and made NO attempt to recover the vehicle to only have the vehicle found burned and destroyed! When tourist stop coming all together and MORE people flee the state of Louisiana I like to know how cute the crime spree will be then! Without tourism New Orleans and the whole state will NOT survive !

    Two parts: First, did NOPD interview the valet? Smells like complicity. Secondly, I get why NOPD used the truck, they may have prevented an even worse tragedy by taking down a cohort of carjackers/gang bangers.
    Props to WVUE for reporting the couple's reaction and not trying to hide it to avoid hurting the feelings of the tourist "authorities"

    • @CourageUnderFire87
      @CourageUnderFire87 8 месяцев назад +7

      This couple reported their vehicle stolen and NOPD knew exactly where it was and made no attempt to recover the vehicle! Now the couple had to shell out money for brand new vehicle! Had it been recovered sooner the couple may have been spared paying for an entire vehicle all together! The couple needs to sue the hotel because the valet was in on it! They also should sue NOPD for negligence and to reimburse the cost of a new vehicle!
