13 minutes into and I feel is just empty talk. Castaneda was nothing, just a medium for the Spirit and Intent to touch humanity with true wisdom. If I had to choose between meeting Castaneda or the Spirit I would not have any doubt. The Spirit talk to us every time we can really listen: my dogs eyes, the hummingbirds eyes, the spider eyes, the mantid eyes they could tell us everything we need to know. We don't need gurus or teachers, just a connection with the Spirit and Intent through inner silence. I listen his books read on you tube every day and that is the best of Castaneda, his person or meeting him was not important.
_"We don't need gurus or teachers, just a connection with the Spirit and Intent through inner silence."_ Yeah, and he mentions that very point in his books many times. You're basically repeated what he (and many others) already expressed.
You do realize he wrote fiction? He researched the yaqui shaman and created Don Juan. Aside from that I love reading his books. It inspires searching for that mysterious alternate world just around the corner
When you try to defend it with evidence then you are headed in the wrong direction. When you practice an experience an allow those results to guide you then you understand that the only thing that matters is experience not judgements and justifications.
Before you judge try to understand. When Carlos tried to get his books published no publication would accept his books as nonfiction so he was forced to relabel them as fiction in order to secure publication. If we can call Carlos’ books fiction we can very easily call the Bible fiction because both of them have fantastical examples.
Dude: Read the books. No natural human is that wise.
Actually, he is being out-wisened. It evolves continually.
For one, he did not talk of the Water of Shiva. That is *huge*.
@@goldenphoenix5934 - I mean Don Juan. His wisdom continually comes back to me in odd and dangerous moments, since 1971.
What a waste of my time..to be obsessed with Carlos Castaneda is the exact opposite of what Don Juan was teaching Carlos
Outside of being arguably the greatest FAKIR in history what is honorable about the crook?
The way you're talking is crooked.
