It pitches up everyone's voices up and changes the appearance of the maps. - The unicorn in meet the pyro is named Balloonicorn, and they are the mayor of Pyroland. :) - Most of the mercs actually have real names. Pyro and Spy's names are just listed as "unknown" which makes sense lore-wise given who they are. (Mentioning this since you asked if heavy's name was really heavy weapons guy)

Nice reaction vid man! I personally love the medic trailer. Hey if you need some games to check out than i would recommend some games related to the SCP universe or shortmovies like SCP 096. SCP Containment Breach is a hell of a game if your unfamiliar with the stuff and if a soulslike 2D platformer might be your thing i would rly recommend Blasphemous 1 & 2. Not many trailers to these game, but those are gems that didnt got the credit they deserve.
They made ONE episode of what was supposed to be a whole series. Sadly Adult Swim didn't pick it up for a full season. The episode is called "Expiration Date." There is also the fan-made, but officially endorsed "End of the Line."
There was actually going to be an Adult Swim show of the TF2 team however the deal fell through. The short Expiration Date was the pilot for this show and was eventually released on youtube.
If you want a recommendation, Fortress Films made a 2 hour long horror sfm (short for "Source Film Maker") movie, based on some of the lore of TF2, called "Emesis Blue". It is really good, and actually quite unnerving at times. There's also LazyPurple's "How It Feels" series, going over, in comedic fashion, what it is like to play the various classes (though we're still waiting for a Medic video). He also has behind the scenes videos on his various problems with using the sfm program for his videos.

I disagree in terms of Valve not taking themselves seriously with TF2. They were very intent on making an FPS game that was both fun, and concise. The game went through a few iterations before landing on the design we know today, and it very nearly wound up looking like something indistinguishable from a Call of Duty or Medal of Honor clone. The class-based system came about after other motifs just didn't work leading Valve to make the game lighter, more fun, and less grounded. They took inspiration from games like Quake for the gunplay, and put a lot of effort into the character designs to make them distinguished, and recognizable from one another even at a distance. Throw all that in with the revolutionary for its time physics engine from Valve and you wind up with the chefs kiss of satisfying gameplay in a shooter that has withstood the test of time. Much of the lore and story that came about was an afterthought. While the universe TF2 takes place in is absurd and hilarious, at its core Valve was intent on only one thing. Making a good game.
Helldivers is definitely not "a 5 hour walking simulator on xbox" in fact, it is quite literally none of those things. I figure you were probably thinking about Hellblade, not Helldivers lol. Helldivers is a fast paced action shooter that is on PC and Playstation but not Xbox

Fair warning, if you ever want to start playing TF2 always start with the community servers and stay far away from casual. There is a huge hack bot crisis going on in the casual servers, hundreds of bot players using aimbot, spamming text and voice chat with vulgar stuff and ads for "bot immunity", and even calling vote kicks on innocent players, all with the intent on making the game unplayable. Its been going on for 5 years now and Valve hasn't done much to stop it. #FixTF2
You're dead right, scouts can be annoying to deal with thanks to their speed and evasiveness. A good scout player can dominate games. Only real counter to scout are engineer sentries which auto target, certain weapons which can slow the scout, or a good soldier/demoman

All their names in-game is just their job/role on the team, but in lore they have their actual name, usually as stereotypical as their personality, and no last name. Except for Engineer, Soldier and Demoman (Dell Conaghar, Jane doe and Tavish Finnegan DeGroot)
Sniper's name is Mundy, and Medic's name is Ludwig. Pyro and Spy's names are unknown
Nice reaction vid man! I personally love the medic trailer. Hey if you need some games to check out than i would recommend some games related to the SCP universe or shortmovies like SCP 096. SCP Containment Breach is a hell of a game if your unfamiliar with the stuff and if a soulslike 2D platformer might be your thing i would rly recommend Blasphemous 1 & 2. Not many trailers to these game, but those are gems that didnt got the credit they deserve.

They made ONE episode of what was supposed to be a whole series. Sadly Adult Swim didn't pick it up for a full season. The episode is called "Expiration Date." There is also the fan-made, but officially endorsed "End of the Line."
There was actually going to be an Adult Swim show of the TF2 team however the deal fell through. The short Expiration Date was the pilot for this show and was eventually released on youtube.
If you want a recommendation, Fortress Films made a 2 hour long horror sfm (short for "Source Film Maker") movie, based on some of the lore of TF2, called "Emesis Blue". It is really good, and actually quite unnerving at times. There's also LazyPurple's "How It Feels" series, going over, in comedic fashion, what it is like to play the various classes (though we're still waiting for a Medic video). He also has behind the scenes videos on his various problems with using the sfm program for his videos.

From what I've heard the animators couldn't deliver within the small deadline window Adult Swim set for them.

I disagree in terms of Valve not taking themselves seriously with TF2. They were very intent on making an FPS game that was both fun, and concise. The game went through a few iterations before landing on the design we know today, and it very nearly wound up looking like something indistinguishable from a Call of Duty or Medal of Honor clone. The class-based system came about after other motifs just didn't work leading Valve to make the game lighter, more fun, and less grounded. They took inspiration from games like Quake for the gunplay, and put a lot of effort into the character designs to make them distinguished, and recognizable from one another even at a distance. Throw all that in with the revolutionary for its time physics engine from Valve and you wind up with the chefs kiss of satisfying gameplay in a shooter that has withstood the test of time. Much of the lore and story that came about was an afterthought. While the universe TF2 takes place in is absurd and hilarious, at its core Valve was intent on only one thing. Making a good game.
I'm not saying they didn't take the game seriously overall such as gameplay. I'm talking about in terms of the overall tone....

Fair warning, if you ever want to start playing TF2 always start with the community servers and stay far away from casual. There is a huge hack bot crisis going on in the casual servers, hundreds of bot players using aimbot, spamming text and voice chat with vulgar stuff and ads for "bot immunity", and even calling vote kicks on innocent players, all with the intent on making the game unplayable. Its been going on for 5 years now and Valve hasn't done much to stop it. #FixTF2

You're dead right, scouts can be annoying to deal with thanks to their speed and evasiveness. A good scout player can dominate games. Only real counter to scout are engineer sentries which auto target, certain weapons which can slow the scout, or a good soldier/demoman
A good Heavy can also counter the Scout, since the Heavy is tanky and deals tons of damage up close
