Thanks so much for the helpful video I really needed this. I'm going to see stray kids in Seattle this coming summer I can't wait to be so fun this is my second concert. My first one was seeing the rose
I'm not sure about other venues but I've been to the one in Newark for the Ateez concert that happened in January and they didn't allow chains or loose body harness's. You have to go through a metal detector and they will make you take them off. After the concert you can get them back in the lost and found but it was such a hassle trying to find where the lost and found was that the people I went with who got their chain confiscated just ended up leaving. The only type of chains they allowed were if they went around your neck I happened to get lucky because I took my chain off prior to going through the metal detector and they thought it was just a necklace, so if your going to the Skz concert like I am check the dress code rules for the venue. Also if your bag is too big they won't allow you in, I know at Ateez they had a storage truck and you could rent a place to put your bag in if you have one but I'm not sure if there will be one at Skz and you do have to step out of line to rent a place to put their bag and I saw people go for the front of the line to the back just because their bag was too big. In my opinion tho bringing less is honestly more and if you do bring a bag as she said try to keep it small and clear it'll be much easier that way. Good luck stay and I hope you have fun!
Thanks for the tip! Also, i'm assuming you went to the prudential center to see them so I have a question... do they allow you to bring your own light stick in or can you only purchase a lighstick at the merch stand? I've been trying to clarify this for a while so if you see this and can answer I would really REALLY appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
I'm going to a twice concert in like 19 hours and this helps me. But I'm a lil stressed bc I didn't buy the light stick and I don't have a clear bag. Wish me good luck lol!
I'm going to skz maniac concert and I'm beyond excited. I'm literally talking about it all day and my family is tired of it🤣🤣 I've planned out my outfit already for the concert so I feel very prepared for that. I wanted to make a banner but probably not because I'm already carrying other stuff 🥲 but I can't wait😭 literally in 2 months (basically 1) knskabskanz. We also got seats in 101 section so im not mad ehe
Personally I have seen Eric nam, svt, skz and soon in Nov 11th and I personally like the upper farther seats I feel like you can see EVERYTHING and I think going to a concert you don’t need close close seats and it was an AMAZING AMAZING experience with the seats we could get! and they are a little cheaper but that to me is a win win
absolutely! the lightstick oceans look AWESOME from the upper levels and it definitely gives you a better opportunity to enjoy the music and the environment!
Hsbdbd I wanna go to enhypens world tour in October so bad but I'm in highschool and it's on a school day 😭 plus my parents would make me but my own ticket and it would be a big mess good luck with your concert
Thank you soo much for these tips! I'm a little nervous, cause I'm going to my first skz/kpop concert ever. I don't exactly know what to expect so this really helped me :) Btw I am in LOVE w your hair we need a tut and your make-up too! OMG loveeee.
Nice video!! I don't even have any concerts that I wanna go to (yet) but I hope that one of my fav groups announces a tour! I wanna be prepared if they do 😂
Thank you for these tips 😭. I’ll be going to the skz concert on March 31st and I’m really excited for the concert! I’ll be going with my family and it’s a 6 hour trip lol but I don’t mind. I still need an outfit tho 😭. I’ll also be using these tips when I get there!
I'm going to my first music concert in februray to see the rose, it took me one hour to get the ticket, i was srsly stressed but i'm so excited even though the concert is after almost 4 months. I also bought my first lightstick finally, the rose lightstick, it's probably gonna be here in december, i'm excited to hold my first lightstick. I really really really wanna go to skz concert, i live in europe so i'm still waiting for the dates, i'm really scared cause the fandom is growing and this means it's harder to get ticket, since skz are my 4th gen ults i really wanna get vip and also buy the lightstick, i'm still waiting in case they drop a new version of the lightstick but i'm really nervous about everything. Like many other people i'm watching videos like this to know what to do, what to buy, what to bring, what to expect. For everyone, try to enter groups like kpop groups or music groups and ask around about everyone's experience especially if they live in the same country or city because it depends on the concert hall and the weather too. There is a lot of things to think about so we can get the best out of this beautiful nights. Hope you all enjoy whatever concert you are attending ❤️
I'm already stressed out about SKZ coming to Germany. Even if they didn't announce anything yet. But they or the universe hate me so much. Because I couldn't see them now five times in a row and ahhh. I just wanna see them for once 🤧💕 Hopefully it Go's well for this tour🥺
I bought tickets for Stray Kids in Italy and we got the single ones I don't now if I am saying it wrong but I don't now if these are good seats because we couldn't choose them I don't know what happened. Also I live in Greece so it's going to be a waste of money if the seats aren't good....Some help please?😭😭
yeah like I went to a bp concert last year (ik this was filmed in 2022 but still) but I noticed in front of me there was some drama going on where people would steal other peoples seats because they didn’t get to their seat on time So yeah, I think it’s real,y good to get there early!
I must say some people don’t have the money to afford lightsticks since they might be expensive and it depends on the person if they want to spend a lot of money on lightsticks or not, I once went to a kpop event and I brought the BTS lightstick bc I knew my mom would not spend 80 dollars for other group’s lightstick I wanted to see, of course I will try to get more lightsticks and I may soon go to the P1harmony concert, I will try and get their lightstick in advance or see if they are selling merch there 😢 is my opinion so pls don’t be offended or if I said something wrong tell me :))
Great tips, especially about the bag size limits. I'm so excited and flying across the world (Dubai to NJ) for Stray Kids' June concert. Now after attending their EXPO 2020 Dubai show, I realised I don't have the best phone camera, and am aware that DSLRs are not allowed in official concert venues unless you've got a media pass. But are compact cameras (point & shoot) permitted? Like a Canon powershot or ixus (random examples).
it differs for every venue! i just checked out the venue guildlines for the Prudential Center in Newark and it looks like small handheld cameras with a lens less than 2.5 inches are allowed into SOME events. might be worth contacting the venue to be sure as i can't find any info on skz's concert in particular! also if you have an iphone there's a way to increase the shooting quality and FPS in your settings which you can probably just google, i'm sure there's a similar method for androids otherwise. hope this helped :) link: prucenter.com/a-z-guide#camerapolicy
Hi! Regular of the Prudential Center here - Prudential Center is okay with small point and shoot cameras inside the venue. If security tries to stop you, pull up the rules on the website and go talk to Guest Services! That's what I do when I get a security guard there who tries to stop me bringing my small point and shoot.
I wish I watched this before skz went on sale I didn’t realize it would glitch out because the same phone number was connected to both of my accounts. So I think that delayed me a lot. I didn’t end up being able to get reasonably priced tickets there because I was only seeing official platinum seats for hundreds/thousands of dollars whenever I refreshed. I actually just ended up buying them on stubhub that day for a bit of a markup but nothing too crazy. Anyway I’m excited that the atl show is at state farm arena because it’s so convenient to take public transport since there’s a gate right at the entrance/exit to the marta station!
Just make sure the tickets are transferable to your wallet and/or ticketmaster account :) And yes you can’t have the same phone number or email on any of your accounts
@@irlcarly yeah I was nervous about that but the transfer came just a few minutes after I bought them and I immediately put them in my wallet so that was a relief!
While I totally love this video, I was a little disheartened to hear you tell viewers to not bring other groups lightsticks at 8:35. As a multistan, it becomes really hard to afford a lightstick for every group I’m a fan of, ESPECIALLY when I’m already spending so much money travelling abroad to see them. There are also so many groups like SVT and Twice who enjoy seeing other lightsticks in the crowd so I don’t really think it’s “disrespectful” in anyway. Thanks for the rest of the info tho, this is actually very informative and helpful!
I'm fourteen and I wanna go to enhypens concert in Atlanta literally so bad, but my parents would make me but my own ticket because it's in October which isn't my birthday or anything special 😭 I'd have to get the cheapest ones because I'm literally broke, but the area they're performing in is kinda small so I'd still be able to see them well I hope 😭
TYSM IK THIS IS A LONG TIME AGO BUT I REALLY NEEDED THIS IM PLANNING TO GO TO BLACKPINKS CONCERT IN L.A IN NOVERMEBER AND IT WILL BE MY FIRST TIME MAYBE IDK IF ILL GO BUT TY!
All of these things aren't really a problem for me except for the water and food part. I can get overwhelmed sometimes which leads to panic attacks. The only thing that helps is drinking water. So actually even if they don't allow me i don't have a choice i really need to bring water with me. I'm stressed by how i need to explain it to the security or whoever checks everything, cause yeah what if they don't let me in even after i explain that i really need it.
i agree with not bringing a different lightstick to another artist's concert. especially if it's a solo concert, don't bring a different lightstick. like why would people do that seriously?? just buy the unofficial ones. it's only like $3-4.
This video was super helpful!! but I do have one question, how early should I get to the venue? I'm planning to try to get merch there, but just in general how early should you get there?
the venue/company will usually give you a concert day schedule with a time the merch stand opens so use that and the popularity of the group to determine when to get there! for example at PTD LA the merch stands opened around 9 or so? but people were there as early as 5 in the morning and I got there around 7:30 AM and was in line for about 6 hours to get merch (thankfully only a few things were sold out by the time i got my merch) however, twice just had their concert in LA and had designated times for merch which were muuuchhhh less busy/competitive. this could be because they just came to the US a few months ago so most people have their merch already but who knows lol VIP has early entrance so if you have VIP then the ticketing site or company will email you a few days prior to the concert of what time you need to be there. in general i go a few hours before the doors open to meet up with people, get freebies, do random dance challenges, etc. sorry this is so long but i wanted to cover everything! hope this helped :)
So I‘m 15 and i wanna go to a skz concert with my friend (she’s also 15) and I wanted to ask if a person who’s 18 or older HAVE to come with us to the concert
I have 2 questions! One, do you have to be over 18 to be go to a concert? If your not and they ask for an id what do you show them? And two, how early should you arrive at the venue? I want to be able to go and chat with other people and see all the freebies😊 I really want to be able to go to the upcoming txt concert but I wanna make sure I’m fully prepared!
No, most concerts allow minors. I only recently turned 18 so I've been a minor for most of the concerts I've been to and had no issue! Just check the show/venue rules and if it's 18+ they'll usually make it very obvious. 1) You only really need a photo ID if you have a VIP package or the venue has a strict age requirement; drivers licenses and passport cards work, and you can also get a government issued photo ID in the US through your county if you don't have either of those. 2) How early you want to arrive is really your choice! Since most kpop concerts have assigned seating, there's no point in arriving early unless you have soundcheck which is usually first come first serve standing room. If you plan on getting merch, freebies, or hanging out at the venue then arrive a few hours early! For me, there was a cafe charity event before the Stray Kids concert I went to so I went about 5 hours early! :)
@@luv4eva1111 No, you don’t need a vaccine card as google has stated the covid mandates lifted march of 2022, but I do still highly recommend wearing a mask.
Hello, I am so happy that I saw your video. I am going to a Stray Kids Concert in California, Honda Center; I am flying across the country to see them. I was actually able to email the venue and they responded right away to my questions about what I could bring as I wasn't sure about the lightstick; they did say that you could bring one so I immediately went on an purchased it. I will look at your other video as I am also curious about what goes on prior to the concert as it has been many years since I have been to a concert and this is my first KPop concert. So glad you mentioned bringing additional batteries, I did not think about that. Any other tips you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for a wonderful and informative video!!
Hi! Congratulations on getting Stray Kids concert tickets! I compiled these tips based on my experience attending K-pop concerts over the past 12 years. Check the concert guidelines and restrictions: Find out what items are allowed and prohibited as well as the maximum size of the items you can bring (for example, light boards, or other obstructive items). Be sure to pay attention to the concert details: Know the opening times, where to enter, if vaccinations are required, and print or have electronic tickets! Put on your concert gear: To get the most out of the concert experience, wear concert t-shirts or clothing that matches the band's official colours! I recommend bringing two bags: One foldable tote and one small bag. Put your essentials in this small bag so that you have easy access to them. If you do not have anything big, put the tote in your small bag first. When you purchase merchandise, light sticks or fan supports along the way, use the tote bag to store them. Furthermore, make sure your bag does not exceed the size restrictions for the venues. Alternatively, you might find these links to be helpful if you are looking for more information. www.allkpop.com/article/2018/09/items-you-must-never-forget-to-have-at-any-kpop-concert www.koreaboo.com/lists/15-things-remember-go-kpop-concert/ Have a great time at the concert!

Responded with this to someone else already but those are resellers and ticketmaster upcharging! As it gets closer to the date of the concert, you'll see resale prices go down A LOT, so check ticketmaster, vividseats, stubhub and seatgeek for better prices!! I recommend purchasing resale tickets from verified sellers ONLY; all ticketmaster resale (purple dot on map) and the blue checkmark next to the ticket on vividseats :) hope you can see them!
Loved this video! Great tips and advice but I've been wondering a lot how would you connect your lightstick at the concert? I'm worried I won't be able to figure it out since it is my first concert
usually the lightstick has an app where you can connect but usually it will connect automatically when you're in bluetooth mode! pretty advanced tech haha however, for skz i guess they're not using the lightsticks on the US leg of the tour because I haven't seen anyone's changing colors!

Thanks in advance!
yes thank you! i heard about certain venues not allowing chains but only after i filmed this, i had never heard of it prior i wonder if that’s new?
@@eellaaa_mh They allowed you to bring your own lightstick
I’m going to Txt’s concert on the 14th and I’m literally so excited it’s my first concert ever!
i’m going to that concert too!! :D
@@kunzine Ahhh that’s so cool! The heat was no joke but it was still so fun I wish I could go back 🫶🏼
Personally I have seen Eric nam, svt, skz and soon in Nov 11th and I personally like the upper farther seats I feel like you can see EVERYTHING and I think going to a concert you don’t need close close seats and it was an AMAZING AMAZING experience with the seats we could get! and they are a little cheaper but that to me is a win win
absolutely! the lightstick oceans look AWESOME from the upper levels and it definitely gives you a better opportunity to enjoy the music and the environment!
im going to itzys first world tour in november!! im sooo freaking excited:)))))))) this is helping smm
OMG loveeee.
using this for tips on getting jackson wang tickets 😭😭
Nice video!! I don't even have any concerts that I wanna go to (yet) but I hope that one of my fav groups announces a tour! I wanna be prepared if they do 😂
I got tickets today!! For the Atlanta show. I’m so excited!! It will be my first kpop concert!!
i’m going to the atlanta show too!! what section are you in?

im going to a loona concert my first concert everrr !!!!
This helps a lot! I see stray kids in LA in march and unfortunately i do have to fly, but im still super excited!
I'll be flying in for the same show as well! Hope you have fun!! :D
I always always bring extra batteries with me lmao. Nearly always, someone next to me needs them 🤣🤣 it’s kinda my favorite moment at concerts now.
Im watching this like im gonna buy tickets 😢
Same lol I'm many yeaarsss laterrrrr I will-
I’m going to the LOONA concert tomorrow. It’s my second concert, I saw Stray Kids in June, but I just wanted to be reminded of what to do! ::))
going to my first concert for seventeen soon im soooo excited ty for this video!!!!
I'm already stressed out about SKZ coming to Germany. Even if they didn't announce anything yet.
But they or the universe hate me so much. Because I couldn't see them now five times in a row and ahhh. I just wanna see them for once 🤧💕
Hopefully it Go's well for this tour🥺
I bought tickets for Stray Kids in Italy and we got the single ones I don't now if I am saying it wrong but I don't now if these are good seats because we couldn't choose them I don't know what happened. Also I live in Greece so it's going to be a waste of money if the seats aren't good....Some help please?😭😭
Maybe you could resell them on Ticketmaster? I don't know if you bought the tickets on there though.
yeah like I went to a bp concert last year (ik this was filmed in 2022 but still) but I noticed in front of me there was some drama going on where people would steal other peoples seats because they didn’t get to their seat on time
So yeah, I think it’s real,y good to get there early!
I’m so nervous, I’m bouta go on war zone tmr for skz tickets lol but hopefully I get the seats I want, AAAAHHHHH
Thank you for your advice ! Just bought SEVENTEEN tickets following your guide ! 😊
omg please, I'm going to stray kids concert at sydney in feb and I'm so nervous because it's going to be my first ever concert in general, TYSM
I’m going to the Chicago stray kids concert 😁😁😁😁
Have a blast there😄
@@donlee4105 thank you 😁😁

same😊
I seeing Eric nam in September
I'm stressed the heck out to get (G)I-DLE tickets 😫. Thank you for the tips tho!
idk why I'm watching this like they're ever coming to Europe again 😭
I must say some people don’t have the money to afford lightsticks since they might be expensive and it depends on the person if they want to spend a lot of money on lightsticks or not, I once went to a kpop event and I brought the BTS lightstick bc I knew my mom would not spend 80 dollars for other group’s lightstick I wanted to see, of course I will try to get more lightsticks and I may soon go to the P1harmony concert, I will try and get their lightstick in advance or see if they are selling merch there 😢 is my opinion so pls don’t be offended or if I said something wrong tell me :))
Thanks my love!🥰😩, u're really reassuring my anxious ass🙌
I’m going to See Blackpink for the first at Atlanta! I’m sooooo excited!!!
These are great tips and ones I would give too!
what do i do mid concert and i have to pee
😂😂😂😂 hold it in
Someone recommended me to put on a pamper … , use this information as you wish
@@lorra7656 🤣🤣🤣
Not bringing water is the stupidest thing on concert 🤧 the security always is pissed because of fans passing out but not allowe water 🤧
Blackpink is on tour and I might go!! Me and my family live 5 hours away from LA so we are gonna drive!!
Like a Canon powershot or ixus (random examples).
it differs for every venue! i just checked out the venue guildlines for the Prudential Center in Newark and it looks like small handheld cameras with a lens less than 2.5 inches are allowed into SOME events. might be worth contacting the venue to be sure as i can't find any info on skz's concert in particular! also if you have an iphone there's a way to increase the shooting quality and FPS in your settings which you can probably just google, i'm sure there's a similar method for androids otherwise. hope this helped :)
link: prucenter.com/a-z-guide#camerapolicy
Hi! Regular of the Prudential Center here - Prudential Center is okay with small point and shoot cameras inside the venue. If security tries to stop you, pull up the rules on the website and go talk to Guest Services! That's what I do when I get a security guard there who tries to stop me bringing my small point and shoot.
Not me watching this the day before my stray kids concert💀
*Thank you so much!* 🥺💕
I wish I watched this before skz went on sale I didn’t realize it would glitch out because the same phone number was connected to both of my accounts.
@@farhinrahmanreeda3055 hi thank you! I address this in my most recent video :) ruclips.net/video/sjelKwxQIMY/видео.htmlsi=G0B7Kw1ID5LeCIc_
I’m planning to go to bp’s concert too!
The one in Paris (I’m not French but it’s the nearest one to Italy so-)
All of these things aren't really a problem for me except for the water and food part.
Can you do a vlog or vlogs About the different concerts you went to
nice tips !
i agree with not bringing a different lightstick to another artist's concert. especially if it's a solo concert, don't bring a different lightstick. like why would people do that seriously?? just buy the unofficial ones. it's only like $3-4.
This video was super helpful!! but I do have one question, how early should I get to the venue? I'm planning to try to get merch there, but just in general how early should you get there?
the venue/company will usually give you a concert day schedule with a time the merch stand opens so use that and the popularity of the group to determine when to get there!
for example at PTD LA the merch stands opened around 9 or so? but people were there as early as 5 in the morning and I got there around 7:30 AM and was in line for about 6 hours to get merch (thankfully only a few things were sold out by the time i got my merch)
however, twice just had their concert in LA and had designated times for merch which were muuuchhhh less busy/competitive. this could be because they just came to the US a few months ago so most people have their merch already but who knows lol
VIP has early entrance so if you have VIP then the ticketing site or company will email you a few days prior to the concert of what time you need to be there.
in general i go a few hours before the doors open to meet up with people, get freebies, do random dance challenges, etc.
sorry this is so long but i wanted to cover everything! hope this helped :)
also i think if youre in the us you can use a vaccine card and for the txt concert they require a vaccine card to get into the venues
@@luv4eva1111 No, you don’t need a vaccine card as google has stated the covid mandates lifted march of 2022, but I do still highly recommend wearing a mask.
preparing for txt😫😫
Same! 😭🙏
I'm so scared for the war to get tickets, wish me luck 😭🤞
(update) I FINNALY SAW NCT DREAM W MY OWN EYES 😭 THANK YOUU
I live 20 minutes away from the prudential center NJ and I got section 19 seats 🙏

Responded with this to someone else already but those are resellers and ticketmaster upcharging! As it gets closer to the date of the concert, you'll see resale prices go down A LOT, so check ticketmaster, vividseats, stubhub and seatgeek for better prices!! I recommend purchasing resale tickets from verified sellers ONLY; all ticketmaster resale (purple dot on map) and the blue checkmark next to the ticket on vividseats :) hope you can see them!
im going to see trendz on march 9th, i already got tickets BUT IM SO NERVOUS RIGHT NOW so 💔 im watching these videos haha
i went to an enhypen concert in october… and i wish I had known so much more about kpop concerts beforehand 😭😭
Loved this video! Great tips and advice but I've been wondering a lot how would you connect your lightstick at the concert? I'm worried I won't be able to figure it out since it is my first concert
usually the lightstick has an app where you can connect but usually it will connect automatically when you're in bluetooth mode! pretty advanced tech haha
however, for skz i guess they're not using the lightsticks on the US leg of the tour because I haven't seen anyone's changing colors!
i am going to the maniac in aus tour can u do a vid on tips just for stray kids
Honestly at this point, depending on where you would be flying, it might be around the same price as driving with the prices rn-
FOR REAL! gas prices weren't nearly as bad when i filmed this 😭
Thank you so much this was really helpful! I plan on getting skz tickets today so I’m a little anxious. I’ll only be buying for myself so I hope it won’t be to difficult lol
