Nah...that was a failed prophecy
Repent daily. Confess daily your anger, lust, jealously, bitterness, unforgiveness, lazziness, etc. We sin daily. We as a family do this daily. God has blessed us with insights and revelations when we pray. Even our dreams are interpreted by the Holy Spirit. Please do this my friend in faith in God.
Lord I pray from the bottom of my heart you will forgive me all my mistakes and sins Amen ❤❤❤❤

I learned the hard way & also gave myself a hard time after each time I committed sin. But this last time, this particular sin badly crushed my heart, I ran to God as if my life depended upon it & gladly with open arms received God's forgiveness, mercy & love because I needed it so badly to heal my brokenness. This time it was different but tangibly real. I believe it was because the sin caused me deep sorrow whereas other sins didn't. But let me reassure you, every time you sin he has already forgiven you & is already working out your salvation through you. You need not do anything except trust that he IS working in you till the day you die. Perhaps I can lead you to a short booklet that explains this.....❤

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Never ask for forgiveness. (It leaves to question weather he will when he has promised too) Confess “speak” what you did to the Father and know he is faithful and just to keep his Word. Receive that with thanksgiving and praise… he likes that. The lord knows when we hear our own voice say what have done, its makes us own it. And owning it is the main route to freedom from it. When we sin and never talk about what we have done just how we feel about it our heart doesn’t deal with the choice we made to do it. The enemy loves to keep us in this defeated loop. Sin=feel bad=“ask” to make the bad feeling go away. Not dealing with it, we sin again =feel bad again =ask again and there is the cycle satan uses to wear the believer down. Don’t fall for it. Confess the thing and that it is sin out loud. Then speak God’s promise that you ARE forgiven and that you and him are Right with each other… that is freedom, that is victory, that honors what Jesus won for us. Love… be blessed.

I believe the pause was established for Christ to build His church. The great commission, however, will not be fulfilled until revelation chapter 14 verses 6-7

Hi, this is Yehudah Rapuano, Israeli archaeologist in Jerusalem. It is absolutely correct that the pause was so that the Gospel could go forth to the nations and that Messiah could build His Church!
According to the prophecy at the end of the 69 th week the messiah will come (the baptism of Jesus ) and in the middle of the 70 th week the messiah will be cut off ,there is no pause in the prophecy. So the question is, where does the idea of a pause come from.

This is not easy to explain but thanks to scolars and people like you, we are able to understand it.
It is now 2023-11-19 and Israël is in full war with the Palestines (Hamas) of Gaza.
From this to the start of the last week of that prophecie of Daniel may not be a very unexpected step and it might be possible that it is taken next year at the meeting of the VN which is held at 22-23 September 2024.......?
The Temple is not build yet but the Red Heffers which must be sacrifised before are present.

You missed out Holy Rome (Little Horn) which eliminated 3 of the 10 kingdoms the Roman Empire became. That it was cut off (Napoleon) then revived and still going strong.

Great video and thank you. I was hoping you'd say something on the Jubilee that occurs on the 50th year after 7 x 7 Sabbath years (Shemitah) have passed. 490 years would mean there have been 9 Jubilee years (450), 5 x 7 Sabbath years and 5 years. So to end another Jubilee year would take 1 x Sabbath year and 2 years. If you add that up, its one year short. Thats the Jubilee year. This all just came to me as I was watching this video. Hope it brings some good comments.
Weren't the 10 horns the ten kingdoms which overtook the Roman Empire? And the 3 horns plucked out are the kingdoms of the Vandals, Heruli and Ostrogoths, they were followers of Christ. The little horn rising is the Papacy?

Let's do math on two times given . 445 and 457 BC. 483-445=38AD+1 year added for the year 0. BC 0 AD=39AD. But if use 483-457=26AD+1=27AD. Anointed is not when He rode in Jerusalem but anointed by Holy Spirit at Baptism to start His ministry.

What does history tell us about the “gap year”? Was it BC or AD? Where does a “gap year” come from? What happened?

(Sorry for the incredibly, VERY long "comment". But I believe it NEEDS to be espoused)
Daniel's "70 weeks" can be THE most frustrating, that I suppose, it's one of THE hardest to understand I have ever had in the bible; and for many Christians too. Oh yes! For it took me 16 yrs of reading, studying and researching, etc. And I wouldn't have understood it, to this day; if the Holy Spirit didn't perk my heart, soul and mind. That didn't stop.
And took me to many places in the bible. And it dwindled down to this..."Why are there so many Denominations believing different dogmas", etc? Hmmm? Huh?
And days and days caused me frustration to answer; of that satan's chicanery. And I didn't know then; that the Holy Spirit was causing my wondering "why, why and why"?
And the Web said there are 45,000 denominations. Where almost all of them, says the same thing, "We are Right and You are Wrong! And we get ours from the bible"! How foolish...
They are all going in different ways; and each says their's, is the way to go.
May Jesus have mercy...So as the day went by, I finally did what I know now; that Jesus wanted me to come to Him then. And do not use bibles or any thing else. Just call oh him. Why...
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
And it was tearing me up. And I finally ran upstairs; and got down on my knees; praying to Jesus ONLY! So I asked Him "WHY"? I said this, "I don't want to be right! Just tell me what IS right"!
And then, I sincerely asked Him to give me "Wisdom, Understanding and the Truths"! Because Jesus, is the ONLY "Inerrant and Infallible" being; there will ever be. Praise Jesus' Holy Name.
And in just days, my life changed far different; than I had ever known. And it's gotten better day by day. And I have learned more; than I learned in my 75 yr of my 91 yrs old. Thus...
I saw things, that I had never seen.
But they were always there. I heard things I never heard. But it was always there. And I found my selves in places I didn't plan to go there; but they were always there. I didn't know then; but I know now; Jesus was giving me wisdom, understanding and the Truths.
Brethren, I said all of the above to say this...
NO one; is going to really understand verses, like Daniel 9:24-27 by there own! And especially the "70 Weeks". Which means 490 yrs for the Israelites; who had dwindled to ONLY one Tribe, called "Judaites".
Because, for 800 yrs, most of their committing "Abominable Sins". Yes! And that was making God's VERY anger.
Thus, He was telling Daniel (through His angel Gabriel) "that His people, has only one more time; to become righteous and love Me". And if not; He was going to turn his back on them forever. UNLESS for the few's, that become righteous and Born Again.
And there is: a very few of them now; that has done that, in the last 2,634 yrs. But most, have never accepted Jesus, as their "Messiah" ("Christ" of Greek language meaning: "The Anointed One")! How foolish they would know Jesus WAS their ONLY Jesus. Dadgum those "Stifnecked" fools...
Now the word "Weeks" mean yrs; in those "Hebrew" times. Thus, that means 70 X 70 weeks equals 490 yrs, that they have to come back to God! So let's look at some verses. And see what happens...
Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Daniel 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troubles times.
Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
IF, one was to ask 10,000 preachers; to tell them what that meant; they would get untold different interpretations! Oh indeed yes. Try it, and see the different interpretation; of just those 4 verses! It's crazy! And of course, each one says, they ARE right. Oh sad indeed.
So I prayed to Jesus about those 4 verses! Because I had NO clue what Daniel was saying. And I doubt he didn't himself too. Because that prophecy was about futures. Not then!
And I believe, the Holy Spirit put me on what is going to happen. I could be wrong! So assuming it is right...
1. The 490 yrs are not "contiguous", but most believe it is. It's NOT!!!
2. For Daniel, took the 490 and broke those into 3 periods. Leaving 2 Gaps. Yes indeed. Believe it please. So the means...
Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks (490 yrs) are determined upon thy people and upon thy Holy City, to finish their transgression, and to make an end of (abominable) Sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy (who is Jesus, when He comes out of Mary's womb).
But remember; Daniel and all others did NOT Know any thing about Jesus. Keep that in mind...
Daniel 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the (613) commandments; to restore and to rebuild (a "New") Jerusalem (Again); unto the Messiah (Jesus' coming) the Prince; shall be seven weeks, (7 X 7 equals 49 yrs then the first Gap) AND threescore and two weeks (62 X 7 equaling 434 yrs total) equaling 483 yrs: the street shall be rebuilt again, and the (protective) wall, even in trouble times.
Because the Jews and others' argued; and had many wars, etc, to stop what God wanted. And that gap time, is unknown, and then the 434 yrs period begins. Then the 2nd Gap happens. That is not known of it's period; until this day. And the 2nd Gap is not going to stop; until the "Great Tribulation" begins. Now...
Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks (434 yrs) shall Messiah (who is Jesus) will be cut off (crucified), but not for himself (rather; for us): and the people of this prince (Roman Empire Leader "Titus" in 70 AD) that shall come to destroy the (Holy) City; and the sanctuary (the Holy of Holies in the Holy Temple); and the end thereof, shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
So, the Last week (7 yrs) comes; because 49 yrs + 434 has only one week left. And that is the Great Tribulation's period. Thus:
Daniel 9:27 And he (Jesus) shall confirm (fulfill) the (2nd) "covenant" with many; for one week (7 yrs): and in the "midst" of the week (3 and 1/2 yrs); he (Jesus) shall cause the sacrifice ("Salvation") and the oblation ("offerings") to cease, and for the overspreading of "abominations" he (Jesus) shall make it desolate, even until the consummation (End of the world that the Jews did not follow Daniel), and that determined; shall be poured upon the (earth to be) desolate.
Because at the end of the GT; Jesus is going to kill EVERY living creature. Including those that were not Born Again. And then Jesus will destroy this Old Earth so hard; that it will look like an "Abomination of Desolations" to the "4 Corners of the World"! And the ONLY thing left; is dirt and rocks. Sad, but oh so true. May Jesus have mercy.
Now could I be wrong? ABSOLUTELY YES! But all the others could be Wrong too...
...in any case Brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!
Friend i think you got everything right except Daniel 9:27, how could it be Jesus? Is it not supposed to be the antichrist who confirms the covenant with many and then brings abomination

Very good and well reasoned explanation of the prophecy of Daniel and the 70 weeks. I would caution all who are looking to an explanation of Daniel’s prophecies to pay attention to the details, and to watch out for misleading explanations from preterists such as the seventh day Adventists, who think the tribulation and the 70th week has already occurred.

And he [the Messiah] shall confirm the covenant with many for ONE WEEK: and IN THE MIDST OF THE WEEK (the seventieth) he [Christ] SHALL CAUSE THE SACRIFICE AND THE OBLATION TO CEASE, and for the overspreading of abominations (the continued temple sacrifices, after Christ one perfect sacrifice.) he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. ("Behold your house has been left unto you desolate.")

7 weeks + 62 weeks + *one week* = 70 weeks, to anoint the most Holy, and to seal up the vision and the prophecy.
Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, *It was necessary* that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: (for there were three and a half years remaining grace for "thy people" of the final week.) but seeing ye put it from you, and *judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life* lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
{Acts 13:46-48}
To fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until *the land had enjoyed her sabbaths* for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.
{2 Chronicles 36:21}
For 490 years, equal to 70 sabbath rest for the land every seventh year, that Israel and Judah transgressed the law of God.
This is why they received seventy years exiled in bondage in the land of Babylon.
There was no gap in their seventy years in exil, and there is no gap in the 490 years of transgressing the law of God, and there most certainly was no gap unto the coming of the Messiah who did not come in a vacuum, but rather confirmed his covenant with many for there and a half years, and in the land of Israel's inheritance.
The stoning of Steven is when probation closed on the covenant that God made with the their fathers, exactly three and a half years after Jesus Christ, our passover was sacrificed for us, and the gospel of the kingdom of heaven went out unto the Gentiles also.
So i ask you, is there “ one week” still remaining? Or was this also fulfilled 😱

Yes, it had to be sealed (fulfilled) up before the new covenant and the gospel went out to the Gentile nations also.
There is no more sacrifice for sin, nor salvation under the old covenant ever since.
And they [Jews] also, *if they abide not still in unbelief* shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in *again*

Daniel 9:27....is speaking of the new covenant that Jesus Christ our promised Messiah confirms with many, for three and a half years of the seventieth week, (not as the unlearned, who give this covenant to the antichrist) from his anointing~baptism at the age of thirty, to his sacrifice and death, and resurrection when he was thirty three years of age, for the remission of sins.
By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. [G1242]

AMEN! When will they let go of that false "7 year trib" doctrine? Can you imagine what Jesus is thinking? The unbelief today of what He fulfilled in the 70th week is equivalent to that of the unbelief in His days that He was not the Messiah! Cmon people, come out of the false doctrine that is drilled into your brains. It isn't hard to figure out! There is no "2nd" chances for the Jews. This is it, the jig is up, they have had 2000 years of chances to believe in our Messiah!

There is no gap traceable based upon an unconfirmed covenant or the lack of “ a king “ not having conquered Rome.

Our covenant is everlasting, not a week long. Verses 24 thru 26 tell us that Jesus is crucified after 69 weeks. He can't be crucified again in the midst of the week in verse 27. The sacrifice/oblation became irrelevant when the vail tore at the cross, not 3.5 years after the cross. The church was not killing animals at the temple for 3.5 years after the cross before finally stopping it so putting Jesus on the cross at the beginning of verse 27 won't work either. And His earthly ministry & baptism did not confirm the covenant either. Hebrews 9 says a testament is only in effect after a testator's death.
The man in Daniel 9:27 is the same man in Daniel
11:31, and he is called vile. The Bible would never
call Jesus vile. The man in Daniel 11:21-45 dies in
verse 28 (return to his own land) and resurrects (At
the time appointed he shall return) in verse 29. In
the KJB, "his own land" and similar language is
used to describe death & the grave. "His own
land" (singularity) stands in contrast to "land of the
living" (plurality). We actually see his death &
resurrection foretold all throughout the Book. We
see it in Isaiah 10:12's "fruit" reference about the
Assyrian. Fruit = death & resurrection as we see in
John 12:24. We see his death in Isaiah 14:11 & his
resurrection in Isaiah 14:19. We see it again in
Isaiah 14:29. The cockatrice (king 7/beast) dies &
resurrects (fruit reference) as king 8 who is of the
7 (false prophet). We see his resurrection foretold
in Zechariah 11:16's "raise up" reference. Here, it's
actually double meaning; he is raised up to rule,
but then raised up from the grave midweek after
his death. We see his death & resurrection in Rev
13:3, and then again in verse 10 (death) & 11
(resurrection). We see it again in Rev 17:8, 10-11
as well.
In Isaiah 10:12-15 God tells us that His whole
work on Jerusalem (70 weeks are determined
upon thy holy city> Daniel 9:24) culminates in
punishment of the Assyrian, not punishment of the
Roman. And we know that the Assyrian here is a
typological future reference because God was not
done with His whole work on Jerusalem (70
weeks) when Sennacharib died. Titus did not die
until 81 AD. This puts his "punishment" well
outside the time frame to fulfill Isaiah 10:12's link
to God's whole work (70 weeks). And Titus was
hailed as a hero immediately after 70 AD and
became emperor in 79 AD. So to try & claim this
era as punishment for him is ridiculous.
Titus never died & resurrected and continued to
rule from Jerusalem for 42 months afterwards like
the vile person in Daniel 11:21-45 does. Titus
refused the wreath of victory after conquering the
Jews. This laurel leaf wreath is the same kind of
"crown" (stephanos) that the first horseman in
Revelation 6 has and does not refuse. Titus
credited God for using him to execute wrath on the
Jews. But the man in Daniel 11:21-45 exalts
himself above all that is called God. Titus began a
love affair with Berenice during the Jewish wars
but the man in Daniel 11:21-45 is said to not regard
the desire of women. Flavius Josephus has the
death toll of the 70 AD siege pegged around a
million Jews but modern historians refute this and
claim the number is half that. Either way, neither
number compares to what Hitler did. And when we
compare this to what Jesus said about the
tribulation being like no other time in history, it
becomes pretty obvious that 70 AD did not fulfill
this.
Plus there is the fact that the Word of God would
not tell Jacob (Genesis 32:29) his name. A name
that He later said was secret when talking to
Manoah (Judges 13:17-18). And when He returns
at Armageddon He still has a name that no man
knows and He will write this name upon us when
He returns. And here we sit, 1,953 years after 70
AD, and not 1 single preterist can tell you what this
new name is and not 1 single preterist calls Him by
anything other than the names that man already
know Him by.

This also accords with the writing of John. Johns letters, including the book of Revelation, reveal prophesies BUT the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D. had not happened yet. If it had, John would have mentioned it. In fact he would have written extensively about it.

I read where some researchers determined the date of the decree by going backwards from the year of his death. They determined the date of death by finding out the year when the Passover fell on Wednesday as that would mean Thursday was a high sabbath and then a regular sabbath on Saturday. This way when the women discovered that the tomb was empty on Sunday morning The Lord would have been in the grave 3 nights and 3 days…just as Jesus predicted. Anyone know about this?

Messiah is cut off AFTER the 69th week . The Messiah came at the end of the 69th but was cut off AFTER the 69th week . This means he was cut off in the 70th week . If the 70th week is still future then Messiah hasnt been crucified . Verse 27 is about Jesus not the antichrist . Jesus confirmed the New Covenant with the Jews in the middle of the 70th week . Jesus ended the sacrifice and offering of the Old Testament at the cross . This is clear from Hebrews 10:5-10 which quotes Psalm 40:6-8 . "sacrifice and offering you (the Father ) did not desire , but a body you have prepared for me (jesus). Hebrews 10:9 "Behold I ( Jesus ) have come to do your will O GOD . He Jesus takes away the sacrifice and offering to establish the will of GOD" . The Septuagint Translation of daniel 9 is the best and clearest.

The 70th week was fulfilled immediately after the 69th week. In the middle of the 70th week, that is, after three and a half years,Jesus died upon the cross having been rejected as the Messiah. Thereafter God sent His Holy Spirit to form His church at Pentecost. But after the next three and a half years, now completing a period of 7 years, that is the full 70th week ; the work of the Holy Spirit was also rejected and Stephen was killed. The first martyr ! There is therefore NO gap between the 69th and the 70th week. The complete 70 weeks (490 years) in Daniel 9, have thus been fulfilled.

Based on Hebrews 9:15 and Hebrews 12:22-24, the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26 cannot be separated from the New Covenant fulfilled by His blood at Calvary.
Are we supposed to believe the angel Gabriel appeared to Daniel to reveal the timeline of the Messiah who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and then the angel failed to even mention the New Covenant. Or, is the covenant with the many in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the many in Matthew 26:28? The 1599 Geneva Bible is the Bible the Pilgrims brought to America, before John Darby showed up on our shores about the time of the Civil War. Heb 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. (These two verses are quoted from Jeremiah 31:31-34.)
Heb 10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

The death of the Messiah is found in Daniel 9:26, and there are only two possible singular antecedents for the word “he” in the next verse. Those antecedents are either Christ or Titus, who was the prince of the people that destroyed the temple during 70 AD.
Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Is the “he” in Daniel 9:27 the “Messiah”, or “the prince” of the people that destroyed the city and the sanctuary in verse 26? If we used “the people of the prince” it would not be a singular “he”.
Does the author of the Book of Hebrews connect the New Covenant with the Messiah’s death found in Daniel 9:26, in the verse below?
Heb 9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. (NKJV)
Verse 26 also says the Messiah would be cut off “after” the 69 weeks. If I agree to paint your house “after” 69 weeks, it will not be painted until the 70th week, or after. Is there a “gap” of almost 2,000 years between the 69th week and the 70th week, or was it fulfilled during the first century when the Gospel was preached “first” to the Jews?
We know there is a time period when the Gospel was taken “first” to the Jews, as the Apostle Paul said in the verse below.
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
Can we find a time period of about seven years when the Gospel was taken “first” to Daniel’s people during the first century? If we can, we have good evidence that the 70th week of Daniel has already been fulfilled.
Did Christ command His disciples to take the Gospel only to Israel in the passage below?
Mat 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.
Mat 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Mat 10:7 And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'
Is the time period when the Gospel was preached “first” (Rom. 1:16) to the Jews in the passage above, confirmed in the passage below?

In the passage above Luke confirms the fact that the Gospel of Christ was preached throughout the land of Israel after the baptism which John preached. Here again, we have a text which reveals a time period when the Gospel was taken “first” to the Jews, as Paul said in Romans 1:16.
Bible scholars have looked at the number of Passover celebrations in the Gospels and have estimated Christ’s earthly ministry to have lasted about three and one half years. Was the Gospel taken “first” (Rom. 1:16) to the Jews for a period of about three and one half years during the period of time revealed in the Gospels?
In Galatians 1:14-18 Paul reveals he did not go up to see Peter until about 3 years after his conversion. During that time the Gospel continued to be taken almost exclusively to Daniel's people, before Paul took the Gospel to the Gentiles.

we are almost there, because once they start building that third Temple in Jerusalem, the Antichrist will follow right after that.
This needs to be tied in with the Leviticus 23 which talks about the 7 festivals . Then look at how Jesus completed 4 of the 7 temples which are in the spring . Then is a long pause which is summer . Then the last three festivals are in the Fall. Then look at Zechariah 13.14, Ezekiel 37-38.

Rome didn't conquer the Greek Empire itself. Rome just integrated all four diadochean kingdoms into the Roman Empire. The book of Daniel doesn't speak of the Roman Empire at all. The legs of iron are the four diadochean kingdoms, which appear after the Greek Empire of Alexander the Great. And out of one of these four kingdoms will rise a little horn, which will apppear once mire in the end of times. All prophetic chapters in the book of Daniel, meaning chapter 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, are talking about one prophecy with different aspects. Begginning from Babylon, Daniel tells us about the rise of the Medo-Persian Empire and the Greek Empire and the division of the Greek Empire into four kingdoms. The legs of iron in chapter two aren't literally legs. The origin word in the hebrew scripture is shok, and that means a part of the leg, meaning upper leg or lower leg. So the Statue of Nebukadnezzars Dreamteam has got to legs, but it has two upper legs and two lower legs. That equals four parts of leg of iron. This refers more likely to the four heads of the leppard in chapter 7 and the four big horns of the male goat in chapter 8, and also chapter 11 refers to that four kingdoms, which appeared after the death of Alexander the Great.
Also the chapter 9 refers to chapter 8. It doesn't tell about the first com7ng of messiah. That is rediculous. The 70 weeks of Daniel are telling about the rising of the second and bigger horn of the ram in chapter 8 after 7 weeks and the man, who was involved into it, Kores, or Kyrus, if you will. Also after 62 weeks shall rise another prince, another annointed one, who was the little horn in Daniel chapter 8, that was Antiochus IV. Epiphany. And in the last week the king in chapter 8, 23 will rise up. That's what Daniel chapter 9, the 70 weeks, is all about. It's all in each chapter one and the same Story, just with more aspects and different Details, but it's only one prophecy.
