- I'm super excited to share my 30 item Spring Capsule Wardrobe today because it means that Spring weather is almost here and I'm very excited about that. For this Capsule, I paired it back to my absolute essentials, and my ride-or-die pieces that I wear on a constant rotation, so that I'm not left struggling for something to wear during my no-buy year.

I'm surprised that you didn't include any t-shirts or tank tops for layering. I should probably try assembling a capsule without them. I wear sooo many tank tops that I can get into a style rut with them. But my 3 words are casual, classic and sensual and I like that tanks show off my décolletage and arms.

Thanks so much Jacqueline! ♥️ I don’t tend to include layers in my capsules, until summer when they’re actually visible and become part of my outfits. Generally I will layer up with my more worn tops so I still get the wear out of them even when they’re not in such good condition. I love the ‘sensual’ element. Feels similar for me when I include ‘feminine’ xx
@@gemmaamcleanSo you're saying you are wearing t-shirts and tanks under your knitwear but they aren't counted in the 30 pieces. More like undergarments, correct? Great way to extend the life of worn items. I never really thought about it that way.

@@jacquelinea8224 yes exactly like undergarments! I don’t like to wear my nice tops too much as layers because then I end up washing them a lot and they lose their new-ness quicker. So I have some of my older looking white vests and tops that I wouldn’t wear on their own as my layering bits. Xx
