I think the leopard coat, blazer and brown leather jacket are all more autumn items - keep them for later - they look great on you - they’d all be perfect with a black polo neck and denim, would be great with denim mini skirt, tights and boots, too
They Definitely are more autumn/winter pieces, but I still didn’t wear them last autumn or winter. They’ve been in an out of storage a few times and still go unworn. You’re right that would be a perfect outfit with them. X
If I am trying to see what I do or don’t wear in my wardrobe I turn all the hangers the wrong way so I can see what I have worn and what has never been worn. if I haven’t worn an item for the whole season I recon I am not going to wear it in the future.
I think the dark wash jeans look so great on you! If they are too snug when you sit I would definitely declutter them, but maybe because they are 100% cotton they will stretch out in an hour or so?
Thanks you Jacqueline! It’s true they haven’t been worn in a little while so maybe just need a fresh wash and then to wear them for a day to loosen out. X
I love my leather jackets. I also have black and camel. I keep them but in my country is always too warm or too cold. I feel like we have only two seasons...
As a previous commenter said, keep the leo coat and just pack it away for now. Based on your comments, I don't think you will wear any of these pieces of clothing so get rid of them. Free up your closet. Tastes change, we get tired of things. I'm a lot older than you (in my 50's) and my style has completely changed from my 20's, 30's, 40's. I used to have a hard time getting rid of clothes because I loved them so much at one time and they had memories attached to them. They were like a part of my life. In my older age, it has gotten easier for me to give away things that I just don't wear for whatever reason. Right now I have a couple garbage bags of clothes in my spare room that have been there for almost a year. Not once have I reached for anything. I will be dropping them off at the thrift shop very soon.
It's funny that we have the same problems 😂. I always have that problem with pockets so I sew them. I also bought a similar pleated skirt in the same length and I don't like it, I prefer longer. I also wore almost 10 years a puffer coat until I bought my first wool coat and now I only wear wool coats. And so on... 😊
You might be overthinking the grey trousers, it's a lovely mid-grey and you love the style/fit, I would keep them. It's not always easy to find something that's 100% perfect for us, even when we get things altered, alternations are not always good
The dress I like but it does seem like too much beige for you, it it were even a darker beige color it would be ok. Love the dark jeans though ❤. Trying everything all this weekend, thanks for the inspiration 🎉
Pin the the cut out top in place where you like it while you have it on with safety pins on the outside. then take if off to sew it and it will be in right place.
I think as the grey jumper is more my style, and just super basic, it makes me think the skirt doesn’t work for me. But for others it could easily be the other way around. Love the skirt other than the length really x
Thank you for the useful video I'm currently decluttering will have a relook on some of those pieces❤
Glad it was helpful! Best of luck ♥️
I love the leopard print faux fur coat, it's a muted leopard print and very chic and timeless, great length too, keep it!
Yes I do love the muted print, I think that’s why I’d be a bit reluctant to get rid of it x

@@patmartin9727 yes I love that tip!! I do it too sometimes but then sometimes I hate how it looks and change them back 😂
The first jumper is beautiful and it looks great on you. I think the problem will be solved with the stitching.
I say keep that brown leather jacket and try to push yourself to style it:).
After watching a couple of your videos I have decided to to be a new subscriber
@@patmartin9727 thank you so much ♥️
I would keep the wrap dress and the brown jacket. They are sooo perfect on you! When I have too much beige on me I add a red lipstick.
Yes a red lip definitely adds some colour and contrast! X

I adore all my clothes, just watching out of of curiosity.
That’s amazing! You must have a great sense of your own style ♥️

Taste’s definitely change, and it would be hard to hold onto everything that had some sentimental meaning. ♥️

Hah very same problems!! Great that you’ve been identifying the issues and fixing them too 😊

I’ve tried to wear them a bit but just found the colour never worked that well in my outfits. The right shade of a colour is important to me x

Did just that and it worked a treat ♥️
You look so much like my daughter it's uncanny. Thank you for the helpful video.
You are so welcome! That’s funny, I think I have a face that looks like a lot of people 😊 xx
@@gemmaamclean you are the first person I’ve met who looks like her other than her great great grandmother.
You should try to dye the gray trousers
I did consider that but not sure how well polyester dyes x

Its the grey jumper I think, not the skirt!

I feel like you're going to regret it if you get rid of the leo coat😂 i would pack it away😅
I do have that fear 😂
@UC6yCi5I9R5Mz7FdW8WUxf7A i find its a classic piece, its leopard print.i would pack it away, sometimes we need a break from some pieces.
I agree! The fit on its own is really nice, the length is practical, and it's just the right compliment to plain pieces!
