Some of the riffs here sound even better than than what they sound like on the original versions.
My favourite riffs are mostly from Requiem for the Indifferent, though. I just love the sheer comlexity of the riffs on that album (and I absolutely adore the use of tremelo picking on that album). I know it's more Progressive and more Death Metal than the rest, but I prefer it much more than catchy riffs.

I agree! I forgot to include lot of cool riffs from Requiem for the Indifferent, especially the song of the same title has so many cool riffs. And thanks for your comment! I really tried to remark on the sound of the guitars

Woooh! I loved it! I also like the guitar rifffs on A Phantasmic Parade, Unchain Utopia, Design Your Universe, Mirage of Verity and Memento. I suggest you check those as well. Cheers!

Really good video. It makes me realize how important the choir and the keyboard is for the symphonic sound

Fantástic 👍 How can we call that guitarr moment ( just 1 second) on Martyr of the world “ minute ( 1’12)
can we call riff guitar ? Love that sound. They repeat that on “kingdom of heaven part3”. Thank you 👍
