Thankstaking: A Native American Perspective on the History of Thanksgiving

In this short talk, Dr. Vest shares some of what she learned from tribal elders of the Mashpee Wampanoag, Pequot, and Narragansett tribes about the First Thanksgiving and the history Native-Colonial relations in New England. This talk was presented at the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists in Berkeley, CA on Nov 11, 2023.
