Good looking mudguards there James 👍 How folk ride around without mudguards I do not know, especially when it comes to mountain biking. The brown streak of shame up the backside is bad enough but once you've been through a couple of wet farmyards, copped a face full of slurry and smell like a farmer's welly, you soon appreciate that a bit of protection is a good thing! Dashed rude calling you Dumbo by the way - sort him out James! 🤣
Cheers Mick, Hope you’re well mate. Sitting in a cafe and some lady walks in with muck up her backside🤢 Then me on the Camel Trail last week. Only had the ass saver and the water was ice cold and uncomfortable🤦♂️ yeah blows my mind how people ride without them. Bloody trolls are at it again mate😂😉 Nice to hear from you😊👍
@@JamesSocialCycling The cold wet backside is just the pits! I have unpleasant memories of my old 'racer' as we used to call our road bikes when I was a kid, and the tiny short Bluemels 'mudguards' that were fitted front and back. They were only a few inches long and were only really there for looks I guess. But the cold wet backside... Ugh! Hope you and the rest of the clan are well and settling into Cornish life, although I see you're still up and down to Sherfield on Loddon. Must be putting some miles on that Beemer now eh! Best wishes James, Have fun!
Awesome video James. As a fellow Topstone-owner, I wonder if it is possible to utilize some of the holes in the rear triangle to reduce clutter. Best regards!
When you say use the holes, do you mean to put a normal mudguard on the rear? I think the Topstone has all the mounts for normal mudguards so as long as you have the room(front fork) then you would be able to use a different set. With my tyres be 45 I am limited to what I can use for the front. Not sure if this answers your question, let me know. Thanks for dropping by and comment. Appreciated😊👍
Hey James, so what do you get in the box and do they come in any other colours 😂😂😂 They look good mate, and I feel your pain and frustration with the amount of extra time it takes to film and fit. Take care ⚡️🚴🏻

That you can not do even if you cycle like a maniac.. You looks to be in good form.. That black canondale whit the orange. Is beatyful like a princess on wheels😁... Soon wil the snow come.. And the christmas insanity whit al the must do... Gifts.. Packing... Decorating... Every year i feel.. Next christmas wil i escape to a warm country... Away from the stress.. I guess i sit here same as last year.. Take care of you and your loved ones.. Cycle care fully.. See you another day.. Jimmy. 🙏🧙♂️🍀
Hi Johnny, nice to hear from you too buddy. Trolls are at it again😂😉 I like a bit of Christmas, though like you not the madness. We are how ever putting up some lights and have 2 Christmas trees in the garden, so may put some solar lights on them, may work🤷♂️😄 It’s always a chill time for us, the boy wonder no longer believes😉 So it’s not as exciting anymore, but we will be merry in the new home no doubt. I have the bike set up in the office now, so come dodgy cycling season I’ll just ride indoors a little. Thanks for dropping by and commenting, always nice to hear from my Swedish Subbie😊👍
Dumbo, rear mudguard fits to Seat Stays, not Chain Stays. Extended rear mudguard secures to lower seat tube. I think that clears that up😊👍
Dumbo, how rude😙💖
Any need for the Dumbo comment?
Perfect timing! Have been looking for a set, looks like these will be perfect. Thanks for sharing!
Glad I helped😊👍

Hi James !
Is there any differents with the older model apart from the difference in width?
Thanks a lot !!!
No difference at all, as you say it’s just the width of the mudguard that I can see. Hope that helps😊👍
