Yes Miner Bros for the win! It’s better to spend a little more upfront without worrying about unknown extra cost that can be +25% more for US customers.
i never really wanted an asic and try to just stick to gpu/cpus but this asic looks very compelling for its price, and low power usage. This might be the first asic i get, thanks for the video

Ya the ipollos and jasminer Q versions may be the safest best home miners should be links to both jinglemining and ipollo in the description would go with kd or ck box's but bitmains new miners hurt them pretty bad until we see some huge price gains
I also surprisingly noted that on poolfare the hashrate reported in the miner’s software is indeed a little lower than on other pools!!! I have never seen software reported hashrate to be different depending on pool on the same coin! Poolfare is best in terms of rejected percentage and actual payouts in my experience

Im kinda mad at myself cause i bought 2 kd box pros (2.6th) for $700 about a month before i found this one. I guess it didnt exist? I bought this a couple weeks ago for $450. They are beast. Quiet. Slightly profitable. Win win.
Soon they will only be making 40 cents before electric when the first batch of ka3’s get shipped. Then after more and more batches this will make probably 15 cents before electric.
i got my first KD-BOX 2 abouttwo weeks ago... And this happened to me: ruclips.net/user/shortsjj-h8HxWV00 400W is a bit too much to pull through 2x 6pin PCIE-s... IMHO. My cables fried and PSU blew... Good thing i was at home. Today i got a server power supply 1400W with the breaker board... Will upload new short video shortly... but again... 6pin PCIE-s for 400W... i think its overkill... With GPU-s... RTX3090 for example we used 8pin PCIE-s 2 or 3 cables (depending on the brand) to safely power the 350W GPU... Lets see what the server PSU will do... im afraid it will blow the cables again... 2x 6pin is just not safe IMHO.... For the record... I am aware that ATX PSU is not the ideal thing for ASIC miners... but...the PSU that blew on me, was running 1 year full time 3 GPU-s RTX3080, and since january 2022 it ran 3 BOX miners (KDbox + 2x CKbox) with no issues whatsoever... Has anyone else had similar issue with the box2 series?
@@RabidMining ARRRGH lol, was so hoping i could use ATX, living in apartment means I'll never be able to get an ASIC ie. goldminer or anything, simply because of Server PSU noise. I have the money, not the soundproofing.
@@Starseed1101 small server PSU-s are not as loud as you think :) They are mostly quiet... Talking about these small ones 750W, 1000W,.... Pulling 400W will barely make a sound...
@KristjanS thank you, I got a 1000 watt server last year for GPU mining, had about 5 cards, was too loud for apartment so used it for 2 weeks, sitting on shelf, if this one I ordered is quiet as you say then I'll order a second KD box II without PSU, thanks for the reply.
@@Starseed1101 That was a different kind of PSU. I had one as well 1800W for GPU mining back in the day... Was really loud. These small server ones have a tiny fan i think my new one has like 1 inch fan... Doesnt even make a sound. I just connected it a few hours ago because the kdbox2 burnt my ATX PSU few days ago...
@@RabidMining True but in current situation with Bitmain going for a kill, there is plenty of Goldshell supplies at 30-40% discount of retail prices, obviously for a bulk purchase.
Ok I was just wondering since I have three mini doge pros hooked up to one and they have been fine four about three months now, so just buy the psu that comes with it
@@RabidMining the two power inputs instead of just one with an internal switch. Seems like engineering laziness and would make for a mess if you had a bunch to hook up together
@@RabidMining all 8 of my kd box pros and 4 doge boxes have had 1, the wifi models. Even my lites have 1 lol. I just know its lazy redundancy and it makes me start to question the quality. I have been a long-time customer of theirs but lately they have been going downhill. The ugwan helium miners don't even work with anything other than the latest model of iPhone and they won't refund anyone or inform anyone how to get the thing to function, all it needs is an application update and they won't even do that
Interesting both my pros have 2 pulling 400w on a single cable isn't a good idea on a kd box 2 ya I have one of the helium miners and a android so can't test it still

No worries not suure RTM is fast and easy but cost to get in is a bit more then others could try FLUX.
What’s the better investment or future. KDbox2 or CKbox2? If you could only buy one what would you pick RM?
That's a tough question lol both have a chance to see decent gains more people would probably say KDA but CKB may be the sleeper

you used a server psu, would a ATX psu worked just as well?, not going to buy one if i have to use server, live in apartment.
750w server psu won't make a sound either wouldn't use a ATX the pcie cables will probably melt but can get the KDBox2 with a PSU.

Can you use a standard ATX psu to power this?
Wouldn't recomend it could melt a standard atx cable
