Why do we need to do transfer techniques in microbiology?
Sometimes we need to transfer bacteria from one medium to another. Whenever we do transfers, we must do it using aseptic techniques.
Aseptic transfer technique is important to prevent contamination of the culture being maintained as well as protecting ourselves.
