heyy , its mainly some short form formulas to get to know about kurtosis and skewness ( like how the frequency curve should look ... just looking by numbical data) and we can compare different datas and train our ML codes in further run ( like some computer softwares)
The table 4.3 shows that all distribution of all variables mentioned above were found to be normal. According to these the +/-3 rule of thumb for kurtosis cut- offs. The value for asymmetry and kurtosis between -2 to +2 are considered acceptable in order to prove the normal univariate distribution (George & Mallery, 2010). Hair et al. (2010) and Bryne (2010)argued that data is considered to be normal if skewness is between -2 to +2 and kurtosis is between -7 to +7.Table 4.3 shows that all the dependent variables (Science achievement, Scientific attitude and creative thinking) have the values of skewness is under -2 to +2 and kurtosis is under the -7 to +7. Hence, the assumption of normality was fulfilled of all dependent variables. Isko Hindi me translate karna hi
Sir one doubt. If the question ask to find out positive skewed or negative skewed then whats is the purpose to find moment? we can say it by comparing mean and median.
1:Sir, Is skweness and kourtsis just find for normal distbution or any other distn?? 2: In kiurtses topic if the distn is mesokourtic it means here mean median and mode are 3 ????
