Looking at buying a Ragley, possibly an Mmmbop or a Marley as my 5 year old Cube is having lots of problems and beginning to cost big time, plus my boss has offered me £450 for it which is pretty good. This video has sold it to me so thanks. Just have to wait until anyone has them or any other bike in stock so could be some time. Nukeproof Scout or Cannondale Cujo also a possibility but this has swayed me towards the Ragley.
Running 11 speed XT cranks, shifter and mech along with sunrace 11-50 cassette. When I come to replace the cassette I’ll probably just got for 11-46 on the rear!
Do you mean climbing on the forest roads or trails? It climbs well on both considering the way I have it set up. 160mm fork, hope 35w wheelset (not the lightest) and heavier tyres. Mine weighs about 15kg which is fairly chunky for a hardtail! On the trails it pedals well but you do notice the lack of traction on the rear when trying to pedal over root sections etc, I can’t imagine any hardtail being great at that. Riding clipped in certainly helps though!
Thanks for letting me come on the ride! You guys were rippin! Mine is in Birmingham, it’s still got a little ways to go. Ontario, Canada.
Ooooh. I saw that tree coming for you!
Very nice ride dude. Thanks for sharing it with us. 🤙
Mate that looks class 👌👌 had a wee tumble in the middle lmao keep her lit 🔥
Some spot. Think I bent my mech hanger slightly on that fall!! 😬

It’s a great bike! The Scout would be a good choice too but yes, getting one might be the difficult part!
I'd love to know how that Wild Turkey was able to keep up with you guys the whole time?
😂 i’m not sure if you mean my laugh or the brakes!!
@@northern_ireland_mtb8101 The brakes!
@@garrettsmith8286 I watched it back and thought it actually could have been either!
That bit in the middle, mental, Swamp ridin' 👍💪
Yeah best to try keep up the speed though it!

Sweet, where is that?

It’s Bigwood, near Warrenpoint. Lots of forestry work going on atm so a few trails not usable unfortunately!
@@northern_ireland_mtb8101 thought it was bigwood, was down a few weeks back, great place
Whats the Mmmbop like at climbing on these sort of UK trails? Cheers!

Finally someone else with a grey one. If you have Reddit, /r/hardtailgang if you want to post some shots and specs.
Don’t see too many in grey! I think it will age better though and I wanted to put some coloured parts in myself. Must take a look at that!
Where is this
Bigwood. Closest town is Warrenpoint 👍
