Wasn’t expecting Sonny Rollins in the same box as Glenn miller! Incredible. And merry Christmas, mr Lawrence! I’ve got a beat up copy of that! Love that weird movie
I’m always shocked by what’s in these boxes. At least this time they were in a box of jazz. Ryan told me when they packed up this collection they just boxed the record up without looking at them because they were under strict time constraints. Some of the boxes make sense while others are completely out of order. Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence is a cool one to find. ✌🏽👍🏽👍🏽
You may already have it but you went past the Goodbye Colombus OST. Nice sunshine pop tracks by The Association and some groovy instrumentals. It's not essential but if you like that kind of thing worthwhile. Cheers Nige
Hi Nigel. Thanks for the tip. I never knew. I’ll go back and grab it. I love groovy instrumentals. Thanks for sharing your knowledge of these little gems 💎 ✌🏽
I’ve been doing it like this for 25 years. I take a small portable record player to listen to anything that I’m unfamiliar with that looks interesting to me. The joy of discovery keeps me coming back for more.
Just curious Steve, but how many records do those boxes usually hold comfortably? I probably could count what you go through but I always lose count as I'm paying attention to what you're pulling out of the boxes haha. And thanks for calling out those artists and titles as your digging 🙂 Brian in Fort Worth 🎶
@@EmbryonicRobot yeah, I haven’t even washed my Hitler records yet, tbh. The covers are terrifying. Pressed in the early 50s, you’d think that would have been too soon after the war for a Hitler record.
Boy are you guys unearthing some gems! I too love Julie London. Such a beautiful voice !
@@andyshacks7812 Julie is easy on the ears and eyes 👀 😂 👍🏽👍🏽
I love various artists records. Sort of Like listening to the radio
I love record label various artist comps. You’re right it’s like listening to the radio back in the day when it wasn’t spewing the crap of today.
Many Thanks Ryan Your Top Shelf.

Boy I would suck at this as most things I would just blow right on by. You got a lot of stuff to check out Steve.

Dang. You love Julie like I do
This album especially, it could have been title Julie sings the blues. She’s is matured and in rare form on Easy Does It.

Roughly 80 to 100 albums per box. Glad you could hear the titles, buddy.
@@TheVinylRecordMission Thanks Steve.
Gene Watson is a country singer
He’s got some great rockabilly 45s out there.
Wow, that Hitler record! Interesting, but I would not want it. My mom loved Freddy Fender. Really great records, again.
Your Mom loved Freddy Fender! How cool is that! Yeah I passed on the Hitler record too. I brought home some fun stuff again. Thanks, Brian.
Lol I want that record! I’ve got a couple Hitler records, actually, ‘Hitler’s Inferno’ and ‘Marches, songs, speeches’. It’s history!
@@Pluralofvinylisvinyls Yes, it is history. I have read Mein Kampf! I don't think that record would get a lot of spins in my house 🙃
