This drummer is one of the sweetest and best ive ever seen...
this is a brilliant cover. What some people dont understand is a drum cover is a drummers own version of how the drums sounds with the drummers own technique added in.

I can't play drums for shit, I really respect Dave's ability. Some drummers throw themselves around like madmen - Dave looks like an athlete with the accuracy and efficiency of his movements.
I wish drummers did this more often when posting drum covers on RUclips. Make it your own and have fun with it. People spend too much time covering songs perfectly. Making it your own adding more drums is why people watch drum covers. I still prefer this version over the originals because it has so much flair. And the original is pretty Amazing.
Gotta say that was probably the most Kick Ass version of Chop Suey ever...Awesome job Dave...

He's so damn effin insane hitting hard that hi-hat. Pure madness. A really great cover... I've been seeing this cover like since 3 months ago and still it's just too good. I love it. I'm btw trying to learn it on a simple 1 cymbal 1 hi-hat and 1 pedal drum set, on a simplest way, of course. But not so easy when looking at Dave using every cymbal and making me feel like "WHERE ARE MY CYMBALS, I WANNA HIT 'EM!"

@Jiraiyashir - to me, a drum cover is either interpreting your own drums, or playing that drums that were written for the song/ Cover is fine for me. A remix is not one instrument, but changing the whole song.

I like this one. I like it because i think i could do that, that's great drumming for begginers like me that try to learn a thing or two. Loved that you brought the double bass pedal in that mix. Good job! You make it seem so easy, it gives me confidence and makes me want to learn more about drums.
Man, Music is like a Projector. If You Play with Passion, it Doesn't Matter if you mess up in a Beat, a Measure or Note. As long as You Feel Free and Project that to the Listener.

@zensey Some parts may seem slightly out as we couldn't add click to this track. The song actually speeds up after the intro. If you record yourself playing along to it I'm sure you'll hear where it is.
For a one off take, especially when the song speeds up and changes tempos I think he did an awesome job.

I love people who are jealous of good drummers so they tell them that they "ruined the song" and that you should "learn the song properly" Do you complain when bands cover other bands songs and change them up a bit, it's creative stop putting people down. EVERY ONE MUST CONFORM

This was played FOR FUN as part of our free live drum lesson. Was it played exactly as John Dolmayan played it? NO! That was NEVER the intent. I think Dave did a great job...

@ThyHoneyNut Good point. He takes an emotional song and makes it about the drums. He ends up kinda over playing it a bit and that takes away from the overall emotion of the song.
