This week i made the best upgrade for the least amount of monye I have ever done. I bougt a pair of used Monitor Audio Bronze FX rear bipole/dipole speakers. for Aproxemetly 66usd. My couch is upagainst a wall, and I have side wall to my left. But still works very well. I did not know what I was missing.
I work with two of these in a commercial setting. Thanks for cover this model in such great detail- I'm stoked to see the video of the iris mod video!

Got burnt on shop goodwill. Watch out on speakers. Tested, working...poorly packaged, broken grill, dust cap on woofer was deteriorated. Anyhow, sometimes a bargain ain't a bargain. If you're going to use 2nd hand vendors, do your research before purchasing!
That's a valid point. Some of my very first purchases were poorly packed and got completely destroyed in shipping. Luckily, things have been better the last few years. But with anything you buy used, there's always a risk.
