E St Louis will go back to Illinois & probably win their 10th state title. They have the most wins in Illinois hs football History. I was a California kid that had to move out to the Illinois side of St.Louis my Junior year due to my parents military obligations some of my best friends in life are from E.St.Louis.. Overall its a city of good hardworking ppl & they all treated me like family. Much love everyone

After the game, Bosco fans even said that game could have gone either way. Bosco didn’t put in 2nd string; you’re goofy for even considering that when we were within 9 points in the 4th. We missed opportunities, when Bosco made some big plays along with questionable officiating. The DBs were riding LB3 (number1 receiver in the country) the entire night with no pass interference calls. But, that’s okay, although a top program shouldn’t need the officials helping them out. When the first quarter ended 0-0, the officials went to work.

I seen these East Side games many times in person. These kids from absolute hell. This is their way to a new life. Many of them recognize it and put their full heart into making it out. E STL is by far one of the meanest places in the country. They got federal grants to get the police cars working radios because theirs were broken

Y’all are really sleep on the talent Illinois has. Just this year alone according to 247 Sports, we have 3 of the top 10 WR recruits in the nation for the 2022 recruiting class. Also we have 7 players ranked inside the top 250 best football recruits in the nation. Compared to other states like Cali, Texas, and Florida that’s not a lot but we definitely have future NFL talents
After watching this game I would not say Bosco is a better football team than estl. They ruled the first half from mistakes and the momentum of scoring first but once estl adjusted it was a whole different story.
So why did they play East St. Louis? Some of you all could stand to learn a little history 1) East St. Louis is a PUBLIC school. 2) ESL has won National Championships before there were academies and prep schools or even schools recruiting across their respective states. Those boys from Illinois are all from the same neighborhoods! Think about that. It's like that superstar team you all picked in backyard football growing up in the hood, going against damn near the Under Armour All-American team. That's crazy... Before De Le Salle was going on their 150 game win-streak. ESL was winning National Championships every 2 to 3 years. There's a lot of history and track record of success with that school. It was a showcasing of how High School football has evolved over the past 30 years. Old vs New. Respect to the ESL Flyers!
And the Flyers ain't scared of competition either. You don't see Chicago Catholic League or DuPage Valley schools playing national competition like the Flyers.

That little quarterback from East St. Louis is the kind of player that you could go to battle with. Young man got sacked multiple times by some big boys and kept coming. He made some real good throws that the receivers should have caught. That first touchdown drop at 3:22 was perfectly laid out there as was the drop at 4:07. Receivers have to concentrate. I wish East St. Louis could play them again later, they'll be a much better team.

We got the number player 5 ⭐️ in the 2023 class. We got about 8 power 5 comments, we also beat up on Damatha a week ago.

Also we have 7 players ranked inside the top 250 best football recruits in the nation. Before De Le Salle was going on their 150 game win-streak. ESL was winning National Championships every 2 to 3 years. There's a lot of history and track record of success with that school.

That little quarterback from East St. Louis is the kind of player that you could go to battle with. Young man got sacked multiple times by some big boys and kept coming. He made some real good throws that the receivers should have caught. That first touchdown drop at 3:22 was perfectly laid out there as was the drop at 4:07. Receivers have to concentrate. I wish East St. Louis could play them again later, they'll be a much better team.
