I work for the biggest hockey academy in the world 5 yrs ago. 56,000.00$ per year and I recruited kids from Russia, Sweden, Japan, US. I'm in Canada. But I played pro football lol iiiiii no ;) So because there are so many hockey academy's in the world as we basically in Canada started that trend way way back have an entire league that are only academy's. The levels even higher. We get all the best recruiting. Our facility is mind blowing. You guys in the States soon enough will have and should have enough academy's to have that as a league division at the national highschool level and they will play one and other. Where I am we call our " states " Provinces. Our teams travel to all provinces in Canada. Plus we facilitate their education. We have direct viens to all the best NCAA Hockey Universities. It's not fair these guys compete against public schools forced to use the kids in their zones. Academies immediately have a leg up.

The bottom line is the top two teams other than Bosco played and MD had to drive down 80 yards with 3 minutes to go and did it. They both are super talented. Their were at least 15 future NFL players on that field. I was there in person and I've been watching high school kids play a long time. This was a college game, No regular high school has a chance against this much talent period. Great game kids!

IMG was 1 dimensional. Heavy downfield running attack but no QB play and no Receiver to stretch the field. Mater dei had the QB and Receiving core to open up the field. In my unbiased opinion , i also thought that IMG got out coached by Mater Dei Coach. In all hell of a game.

More like IMG played 1920s football bc MD's superior secondary shut their passing game down. MD was the far more balanced and well rounded team. You just keep crying and making excuses.

I've been watching IMG play for over four years, and usually what happens is the other team plays a really competitive first quarter, and than IMG just lays on the other team like a sumo wrestler and squishes them to death with their talent and sheer size. Happened every. single. time. To Miami Central, Carol City, Chandler, East from Utah, St.Johns, Corona Centennial, Bergen Catholic, etc, etc. Mater Dei was able to match them, but even they started to get gassed late in the fourth.

DjSweet Lou do you think these schools give free tuition to these players? No they fucking ask them to play for them, and its the kids' choice if they want to play for them or not. Private institutions are able to give scholarship, but only up to a certain amount of money, which couldn't cost as much as tuition.. Your argument is further proven invalid when the top school in Texas is public. Don't get mad at the schools for having the best recruits, get mad at the kids for choosing to play there.
And your point? The kids still have to want to go there and pay the tuition.
I can speak to tuition since I know a lot of these kids and my kid just spent four years at Mater Dei and just graduated in May. Its need based financial aid. If your kid is approved to go to Mater Dei you submit tax forms and based on your need your fees are determined. So everyone pays but in my case me and my wife didn't qualify for help so it was 1200 per month for 12 continuous months or you can pay 1600 for 10 months. The tuition is 16000 and goes up 2% per year. Which is not a lot for private school. But 50% of the kids at Mater Dei received aid and football and basketball players only make up 1% of the student body MD has 2200 kids it's the second largest catholic school in the country. So you have to make a decision do you want to go to public school or to one of the best private schools in the country academically and athletically for a few hundred a month if you receive aid. MD is the most dominant sports program in high school period they have over 130 championships in every sport in my daughter 4 years they won cif, state or National Championships in boys and girls basketball, football, soccer, golf, water polo, volleyball, baseball and track in the most competitive division in California, and the academics are vicious if you get under a C average for two semesters you're put on probation another one you're kicked out and I've seen a lot of athletes have to leave. I made the sacrifice for my kid but she did end up with a college athletic scholarship so I paid for high school but college is free. MD for life.
My point is that private schools such as IMG and Mater Dei can recruit a player form where ever they want. Giving them the advantage of having a successful program every season. Unlike a public school who has to work with the local kids within that schools boundary lines.
@@loudawgs You are exactly right. The CIF in California is considering making a super conference with mostly private schools. Mission Viejo coach retired early because he said it is unfair for them to play Mater Dei and Bosco in the playoffs and they are a public school powerhouse. Pierce the Long Beach Poly coach that just left said it's unfair because the kids that used to go to Poly that live in his area play for Bosco or Mater Dei now. The last two times MD played Poly which was the gold standard of Cali public school football they lost by a combined 70 points.

Do you know what IMG reminds me of? Everybody's fears deep deep down. I always see High School teams calling out IMG and twitter thuggin', but when IMG calls they are quiet as a mice. And even then, when the teams agree to play the other team is wide-eyed and scared of mighty IMG. Mater Dei is an insanely physicaly team, Bishop Gorman and Bergen Catholic said they've never seen a team as physical as MD, but even MD was struggling with IMG. Goes to show you how good of a team MD is.
IMG was calling out md for months. They thought they could march to Cali and win ez. They got their asses handed to them because of their inability to compete and keep their mouths shut. Not to mention the 2 targeting calls.

Brah, they played Duncanville from Texas and smashed them into oblivion. Duncanville is 3-1 . They smashed Liberty from NV who’s 6-1. 2 years ago they beat IMG who had 2 20yr old seniors playing tailback. Bosco smashed Miami central and then went to IL and smashed their state champs East Stl. Cali ball travels. Rarely ever does IMG come out west brah we play hard ball out here but you couldn’t tell that by the ncaa who’s super bias toward football out that way cause the $$$ too good. It’s the only reason why IMG is #2. They’re in a weak league. The trinity league got 3 teams in the top 10 alone. IMG is sauce bro 😂😂😂
@@carson4227 Wrong… MD played teams from TX and NV - both were dominant wins. St John Bosco also played teams from FL, IL, and VA which were all big wins as well. Plus, MD played and beat St John Bosco, Servite, and Centennial who are 3 of THE best teams in the nation (all from So. Cal) And the rest of MD’s schedule were against Cali teams that were/are ranked in the top 50/100 in the nation. No need to travel far anyway when most of the elite HS football competition is in SoCal.

Sloppy game from both teams, those 2 ejections played a huge role and not because the refs were bad but because they (img players) were undisciplined, why do those useless things? But either way gg for both teams second half. Bryce, Bru, Dollars, Elias and the TE had a big game for MD and on img side it was the Oline & the running backs .

People forget that Mater Dei didnt win their league this yr. They lost the league title to St Jon Bosco losing 41-18. They avenged the loss in the So Cal finals 17-13 and then beat De La Salle 35-21 for the state title. I would say Bosco would've beaten IMG also. Up until the loss to MD, Bosco was 13-0 and killing everyone
