I have not used the cleanser with retinol in it. However, I learned by using La Roche Posay Effaclar that although something may not be on your face for long before you wash it off, it can still do a fantastic job. The LRP cleanser, that’s all I used at the time, rid my nose of almost all sebaceous filaments just using that 50 second cleanser morning and night.

La Roche Posay makes a great cleanser for sensitive skin. You get a large bottle and it takes very little to create a lather for anywhere from $16 - $17 for the bottle. It’s much better than Cerave in that it does not leave a film on your face. I cleanser my face twice a day and one bottle lasts at least two months.

i have dry skin as well as acne and i cannot seem to get rid of it. i tried the typical acne foaming cream cleanser with benzoyl peroxide and that didn’t work and for the past few months i’ve been using a sulfur facewash and a typical oil free facial lotion but my face is still very dry and i still have acne. do you have any advice or products i could try?
Olay vitamin c cream is literally the only thing that worked on my acne...my skin was so bad, I used everything, even used creams like Cetaphil and CeraVe for sensitive skin ..nothing worked, but this cream...my skin is clear...everyone's skin is different and reacts in different ways to different things! 🤷🏽♀️

Collagen Peptide 24. They are the only collagen product I trust. Normally they're bad with bogus claims but peptide? And they're good ingredients list on then? Get the serum st the very least. Their retinol (purple one) seems ok to get too.

Okay I absolutely hate olay because of the fact I had an extreme breakout
Personally I don't care for Olay. Most of their products are the same with a different main ingredient. (retinol, vitamin C, peptides.) Some people might like that, but personally I'd rather have more than just one ingredient making the product different from the rest of the lineup, not just one. Every time they come out with a new line, they release a TON of products that they didn't need like that retinol cleanser, and then the cost. They are one of the highest drugstore brands, and they aren't any more special than the cheaper drugstore brands out there.
On another Olay note, if you have acne prone skin, I would be careful of their moisturizers. When I was younger I bought three different ones because they were on sale and I was running out of moisturizer, (this was before I started disliking them.) and had not found a moisturizer I liked yet. Every single one of them broke me out. (Probably because the formulas are identical besides the one main ingredient.) I took a break between using the first one, then my skin went back to normal, and then I tried it again. Same thing happened. Then I moved into the next one, and the same thing happened. Moisturizers don't normally break me out even if I am acne prone, but those sure did. Not sure why, and just because I broke out doesn't mean you will, but I just wanted to warn y'all.
Fyi unless you are actually dry skinned, as a kid most adult moisturizers are too thick for you
@@msk-qp6fn I do have dry skin my friend. I've used moisturizers WAY thicker than those, even back then when I tried those 3. Most moisturizers don't break me out either, so I just found it odd.
EDIT: also... I was like 19 back then, so maybe a kid in some people's eyes, but I'm not quite sure how young you thought I was.
